Wait, there is a Harvard office on campus too?? Where? I must have not been able to see it, since all those Yale and Princeton recruiters are always blocking the entrance to the school trying to convince HRCS kids to go.

The original bitter poster above asking us to give the thread a rest, maybe we should dial back a little on all the glorious aspects of HRCS. It's obviously not sitting well with all the parents who could only afford the best private, and didn't know who to bribe to get into HRCS.

NP, but I am SO SICK of people getting into HRCS and other good schools who have done no research and then coming here to gloat and ask for info. Ok, here is my feedback - HRCS is awful and not a place for kids to thrive. It is also in a dangerous neighborhood. I would never send my child there, and neither should you. Much better to send your snowflake to a private school.

Oh!! Well, wow.... That kind of changes things, doesn't it? In that case, I'm calling HRCS tomorrow and giving up my spot. If DCUM tells me it's no good, it must be no good! Dammit, why didn't someone tell me this before we did not apply??

I realized today that my time stamp is off the space time continuum, and that that means DC will have been accepted yesterday at HRCS, but will go to HYP first, and then circle back for immersion.

No, HRCS has a great playground, it's just a mile outside of 495. It's no biggie - the PS and PK classes make a game of crossing 495 in different places every day. Just make sure your kid wears their reflective uniform - it's a bummer when kids don't.

Oh whatever. My commute from PG county to drop off and pick up my DC at HRCS shows far more dedication than you lazy walk-to-school types, so I have a right to go there. Also, who do I petition to get a traffic lane turned into a special school zone parking lane? I never have such difficulty parking in the middle of a crosswalk on Sunday for church.
