I weigh 380, and am 5’6. Very athletic. I wear either a 2 or a 4.

I’m 5’2 3/4 I weigh 150lbs and am size 6. Had gained weight during pandemic, size 12 at 199lbs, size 8 @ at 160/168lbs I have 10
But don’t remember weight. Before pandemic, I was always 5-6 or 4. Weighing 134-140lbs and probably juniors as opposed to women’s but I still can fit junior. They’re just tighter in the hip. My measurements qualify for hourglass and are 34-28-36 high waist is 27” I run/walk daily after my knee surgery 1.5 years ago.. to get where I am. Now I do half the mileage to maintain. I’m no dieter or heavy eater but I like carbs so I choose to exercise |

Vanity sizing is getting out of hand |
I am about an inch shorter but there is no way I would be a size 6 at 150. More like a 14. I'm only a size 6 when I'm at or below 120, probably closer to 115. |
5'7" - 135lbs, size 2/4, small/extra small and sometimes 0 or petite depending on the brand. I am not petite. Yes vanity sizing is insane... |
I’m shaped like this, same height, same weight and a size 14:
|
I am confused by all the small sizes but I guess everyone carries weight differently. I am 5’6” and 155lb — solidly a size 12! |
Brands vary too. |
Absolutely! You have a size twin in a 4 on the other page. Maybe it’s how clothing is fitting? Some may wear it tighter? |
5'2 and a size 6. Tops are small or medium depending on which. |
I am befuddled by this. I am 5’4”, 140, and I always wear at least a 12–as I did when I weighed 20 pounds less. (My pant size is smaller, but that’s my dress size.). I read on here all the time about people who weigh the same or more and are able to brag about clothing sizes—it is always demoralizing. |
I’m 5”7 and weigh 150 and wear a 10. I feel like that’s pretty accurate in most stores. Although I am 50 so possible distribution of weight changes between a 30 yr old and my age. |
I believe OP. I’m 5’6” 140 lbs and wear a 4-6 in pants and dresses. People’s bodies are shaped differently. I have a large bust but very small waist. When I weighed 125 ppl commented that I was too thin. 135 is my sweet spot. |
5'6" and 193 pounds this morning.
I wear an 18 or so on the bottom, or a 2X. Can wear an XL on top. I've recently lost about 35 pounds, and my size has not changed yet, except for maybe a bit on top -- I'm wearing the same shirts, but they fit better. |
