And Tommy’s compensation dwarfs every other director. There is a huge disconnect. ASA families and Alexandrians are being taken for a ride by a Board that is too scared to say no to the 40 year old man-child. |
Not disagreeing on that, seems like his should be inline with the club directors at those other 4 clubs. |
ASA is not a major club. They are an also ran and do not get college results like the rest of the clubs. |
In fairness, the top players do not seem to be of the same background or academic status of any other club’s stars. |
| They have a freshman at Stanford and a Georgetown commit. |

| I think it’s reasonable to ask why Alexandria pays their director almost three times that of other comparable club directors. Maybe he does more things than other directors? I’d like to know what he does. |
Don't disagree on the compensation being too high, but ASA yearly fees are less than most other local clubs |
| This thread is ridiculous. Youth soccer is all about the money and you all know it. It’s not the best players or coaches. It’s the most money. |
| ASA CEO - its time you show your face in front of the 2011B team. They deserve answers. |
He can tell them his success story. Mediocre division III soccer player at a mediocre college who started earning $220k a year at 32 being ASA’s Director, and he has since convinced a Board of parents to increase it to $400k a year since. |
I know he’s pushing to get $400k. Don’t ask me how I know tho 😘😉 |
| The GM of the Nats makes millions and they suck too, what’s your point. |
