Do you all think he is worth $382,631 a year?

When did it become okay to become wealthy off the backs of children just trying to make a team?

How much do you think a CEO of a similarly sized organization gets paid in Arlington? Complain all you want, but $$$ is the wrong path.

Why youth sports need a CEO is where it has all gone terribly wrong - kids do not have money, and kids also cannot control whether their parents have money.

$384k is not wealthy in this area. He/she is possibly underpaid given the logistics they have to a manage in similar sized organizations.

You have organizations like Detroit Metro FC and others who are have built free academies. I am pretty sure the DCUM soccer base would reject the premise of these organizations so ASA and others are meeting the customer demands.

I hope they pay all their staff well.

And to add that Alexandria Little League is all parent run with no paid staff.

Underpaid? Are you serious?

As a non profit tax exempt organization, isn’t there a cap on salary?

As an Alexandria parent I tend to agree. it's an immense job that has very little to do with the play on the field, or the performance of the individual teams. The organization is very much more than the travel soccer component, including rec leagues, futsal, community events, international trips, tournaments, and developing a good working relationship with the city of Alexandria. A lot of clubs would kill for the dedicated field space Alexandria has managed to partner with the city for.

That said, I'd like to know what the Technical Director makes and what there is to show for his work.

Because it’s publicly available information.

+1. Would also love to know why we still don't have a boys academy director.
