HS Swim - Districts this weekend?

I seriously doubt Oakmont booked a conflict for Saturday night in ONE day. That makes no sense and is just silly.

If they canceled the reservation it might have messed up staffing.

I agree! It makes no sense. Yet the coach just sent us that info, with apologies. Maybe they forwarded info before it was for sure in attempt to communicate well? I’m hoping so.

Still fixable and enough time to fix it. I swear coaches are drama mamas and just create silly problems. That are not problems.

WAIT - your coach forwarded to the team that you are having timed finals tonight? That would a sure thing then.

OR

Did your coach just forward that information that it might be a maybe because of a misunderstanding? If so, they SHOULD NOT DO THAT. That is ridiculous and confusing.

Poor coach is just passing on what is being emailed to them. Seems in poor taste to blame them.

Ha! Even the rec centers are all confused with the flip flopping.

Coach emailed that Patriot is timed finals tonight. Is this the last change? I can’t guarantee that, and neither can the coach.

DP
What we are hearing is that Oakmont canceled the reservations for tonight and tomorrow.

But why include the team on that? I am not saying it is the coach is at fault for the rec center's confusion. I am saying the coach is at fault for passing that confusion to his/her team UNLESS it is a definitive thing now. That is when the coach should tell the team.

So you aren't swimming at all?

I feel like they can correct this and it is non-issue.

Assuming that Oakmont cancelled the reservation, it's not like they filled up the space with some other meet. They can cancel water aerobics, lap swimming, zoomba in the water, etc.

I wouldn’t blame the rec center. They only did what they were told.
