| Girls were invited, and accepted, from non BLC and Stars clubs. |
|
And I'm sure some declined as well
|
Any insight? |
This is probably the best summary of this approach I’ve seen yet. |
If they are looking for the best talent, maybe they should think about inviting players from other clubs, not just BLC and Stars What about 3D are they any good? That club is a joke |
What about 3D are they any good? That club is a joke i think there are talented girls on that club, but i don't know how that club is run. |
| Capital should start teams a year or two earlier, which would solve most of these issues and give them more time to develop players. |
it's called BLC |
This an early pay to play opportunity. If you are willing to pay, you can likely get an invite (with some nice persistence). |
| Capital finally realized you can start soaking families in middle school. Can’t believe it took them this long to figure out. |
But they could charge more with a Capital name on front of jersey. |
There are several tiny and / or slow girls on BLC 2030 who are unlikely to make Capital and girls on other local teams who are clearly better than these girls |
lol…finish your drink and go home. |
Picking the right team is hard for rising 9th graders. Picking rising 6th or 7th graders is a total guessing game. |
KJ had some timeframe where she sold to Stars and still had to be involved. Gussie knew this and waited. It was an inside deal. In return KJ got to be involved with Capital tryouts. And she picked some favorites year after year. I think last year was the first year she wasn’t in the room at tryouts when picking teams. The St. James is now having trouble filling younger teams. They certainly haven’t been delivering a top notch experience which is not exactly baffling considering they continue to employ SW also a favor to KJ. Lacrosse is a very dirty sport. This group is particularly dirty. |
