3. DeMatha
WCAC Champs and 1 OT loss from #2
4. St. John's
2nd Place WCAC. One bad loss
5. Good Counsel
1 hth loss against GP but a better season
6. St. Mary's Ryken
hot at the end of the season
7. Georgetown Prep
losing record and no big wins
8. Gonzaga
too many 1 goal losses
9. St. Albans
there's hope in Cleveland Park
10. Episcopal
some good regional wins
HM
Heights, Independence, PVI

Do you really think Prep would lose to Ryken? Prep took care of business against GC a month ago, and the game wasn't that close in the second half.

I'm not sure if SJC is deserving of being a top-four team in the area when they didn't even make it to the final four of their own league playoffs.

EHS plays PVI today in the VISAA State quarterfinals; should be an interesting game to follow.

We have very different thresholds of “interesting”

PVI wins comfortably. WCAC is a deep conference.

No opinion on outcome. Neither team is compelling, they both play different versions of bad club lax (50 seconds on the shot clock, no back up, bull dodge and miss vs same and split dodge and miss,) that's also boring. Season's over, have your players watch Cornell or ND or Tufts to learn how not to do the above, and good luck to all next year.

Cornell and ND would roll Tufts by 10+

Tufts would roll Spalding by 10. Equally irrelevant observation.

St. John’s sucked, and word is they’re losing a lot of players to transfer. will be interesting.

SJC is losing a few kids to transfer but none were starters.

I know one 2026 left last year for Whitman. Any other 2026's or is just the 2027 and 2028 moving on from the sidelines to other schools?

Score for EHS vs PVI?

The Whitman kid had nothing to do with lacrosse or the school.

15-7 with EHS needing garbage time goals to make score look more competitive than it was. Nobody without a family member on that team would rank EHS top 10 in DMV.

Episcopal was bad this year.

They had some pieces 5/6 guys but you need a bunch more to make it a run. CM needs another 5/6 to pony up boarding fees too help the kid out the next 3 years.

Uh, only if one of those 5/6 actually replaces the kid. Too small, too slow.

CM will leverage his Mad Lax Nationals programs and EHS Boarding facilities to bring in some talent.

Otherwise, EHS will suck next spring.
