You're missing the point. He's picking relatively attractive candidates that are well spoken and have the ability to communicate effectively on television. They're a unified messaging machine. It amazes me that Democrats still haven't grasped how to fight effectively through the media. It is routinely their downfall.

These are not voters who do extensive reading about issues. The other demographic of voters are those who know better but are simply in it for the power grab. That includes many government contractors, the tech bros, fellow GOP congressmen and even VP Vance. Trump had detractors until they realized they couldn’t overcome the uneducated mob.

Your post would be much more meaningful if you didn't push the idea (that DCUM posters routinely do) that Republican voters are uneducated, low information voters, and Democrat voters aren't. While many liberals are Ph.D. types, plenry of Democrat voters are poorly educated and just vote on party lines, while getting snippets of info from their leaders and social media.

Americans pushed back on elitists that told them how they should feel. The working class that was generally part of the Democrat base shifted to the Republicans because they felt they better represented their interests. The voters? What about the education and knowledge of the nominee? He hasn't been able to answer some pretty basic questions that the Secretary of defense should be able to answer.

Trump will not deliver on any of his promises and the working class will be much worse off once the ACA is gutted. Trump may represent their interests on paper but he won’t deliver. Neither party cares all that much about average Americans but Trump is much more dangerous.
