He's making some good points on the standards needing to be the same for both sexes according to the job. For example, he just mentioned that carrying ammo and rucksack, etc, weighs more than 100 pounds.

Reminds me when my college ROTC son came home complaining about having to carry a female's rucksack in a training event. She was holding back the platoon. There may be a place for her in the military, but it would not be in ground combat.

Yes, that is correct.

Hesgeth can say good things and make good points - that doesn't make him qualified or overcome his (many, significant) past issues.

Do your kids serve or are they at UVA? Your conjecture about the downfall of the United States is cute. That I don't let Republican political appointments disproportionately influence my life isn't being self absorbed, it's being grounded in reality.
