Not unless you’re promised the keys to the castle, which is dumb because you don’t go to Prep for that. You go to West or Burke. If this guy is somehow supposed to be in line before Jeremy Linn, I’d jump ship too. But there is no reason for that to happen. Both of the Linns coach for NCAP-West and are beloved. In fact, they started that club and NCAP folded them in. The only wrinkle is the VSI-PV boundaries thing that messes with West from time to time, but honestly, Virginia Swimming age group is far superior to PV right now.

Totally agree- and they brought Cliff on promising him he'd get BG's job then he left bc he was stuck coaching Gold 2.

upgrade from Jeremy but downgrade for this Bucknell coach I'd say- 20 years in college swimming for a G2 job at Ncap, which pays notoriously poorly? Make this make sense

Jeremy Lin is part owner in the NCAP west site he’s not going anywhere. I think it is the Jeremy that is at prep who people are speaking to going somewhere.

DP I’m going to guess it’s Jeremy Cochran who had been running Gold 2 this year. Is this going to be a John Flanagan at Marymount situation for Bruce where he is still part of the program but Dan Schinnerer is the main guy now?

Hopefully not. This guy has achieved great results in year 1 at GP and the kids really like him. Revelation at the site to have a coach be kind and compassionate with their swimmers.

I think someone is pulling a rumor out of their @ss suggesting Jeremy Linn is leaving. They are spearheading the building of a new NCAP facility in Fauquier County to replace the one in Vint Hill. If we lived closer that is a site my kid would love to transfer to. They have friends that swim for West and as someone else said the Linns are beloved and highly regarded.
