We get it you hate intelligent people with common sense. You would rather live in a world the applauds your progressive delusions. Hopefully, most of America won’t see it your way. |
Intelligent people with common sense don't go around attacking and insulting half of the population and then say "f your feelings" when they get upset about it. Intelligent people with common sense don't immediately accuse the media of "lying" every time they report something that goes against their worldview. Intelligent people with common sense evaluate information from a wide variety of sources rather than retreating down far right wing rabbit holes of conspiracy theories and disinformation. We have no problem with intelligent people with common sense. We have a problem with MAGAs. |
It’s funny, I’m anti Trump and when I find out someone voted for Trump and supports him I immediately question their intellect and integrity. Harris / Walz allll the way. But the anti-Israel mob / coalition in the Democratic Party strikes me as one half of the same coin as the MAGA nuts. Ignorant of facts, so deep in hatred (for Jews in this case, though that makes them like many neo-Nazis), and so overtaken by propaganda because they have such a limited grasp of history and world affairs. They see it on Facebook and so it must be true. You’ve got people like Ilan Omar - literally endorsed by David Duke for her anti Jewish platform. Yeah, go Google it! And on this, I see very little daylight between the MAGAs and that aspect of the Democratic Party. Hope these nuts stay away from the convention. |
Agree. I’m Harris / Walz and absolutely voting for them. I’m also repulsed by the pro Hamas / Iran propaganda arm that has overtaken part of the Democratic Party and certainly the brains of so many Americans who wail about “Zionism” and then advance and protest on behalf of Hamas, the Houthis, and Hezbollah. Terrorist groups. These people are just as bad as the MAGAs |
So you’re repulsed, but voting for it. Ok. |
I know a cat lady. She is 40, single, and was devastated when a relationship she thought was "the one" turned abusive, gaslighting, and threatening. She looked into IVF but can't afford it and works for a Catholic private school (trapped in non-profit work due to student loans she needs forgiven). She goes to church weekly and is in charge of the children's choir. |
^^ she has 4 cats, 2 of which were her now deceased mother's. She takes them not just on walks, but on field trips to park events and suchlike. |
Will this be on CNN or MSNBC? Inquiring minds wanna know. |
^ Speaking of delusions |
No one here will know because it’s 2024 and no one under 70 watches cable TV. |
I feel the same way.
I also lump anti-trans people into the same bucket. |
Great story. These are tropes. They speak in tropes bc it gets to the point faster when you use a caricature. Dems forgot how to campaign. Some people use so many words, they trip all over themselves. It’s. a. problem. |
I strongly disagree. These people have turned conservatism into a culture because they have horrible policy, I get that. It definitely works. Politicizing EVERYTHING has dividends, but they are rapidly diminishing. And F****** with cat people is where those returns turn into losses. Owning a pet is absolutely not a political thing. We all know Republicans who own cats. There are plenty of unmarried Republican women out there- maybe they are divorced, or widowed, or whatever. And they probably have a pet, and a LOT of people freaking love cats. This is not some tiny insignificant number. This is incredibly stupid. |
haha . That’s pretty good. I just don’t think pet people are a single issue voting block.
a tell me… tell me that the left have not made everything about language and culture and behavior. I’m a young genex and well, it’s hard to keep up. It’s fine but I get why it’s annoying for some. You forget how petty people are!! |
I think a lot of people, like yourself, confuse politics with culture and Republicans happily play into that. The culture is moving to the "left" in a way that makes many people (including myself) uncomfortable but I don't see that as a legal or political movement. I've never heard a higher level politician like Biden or Harris or Nancy Pelosi or even AOC say something I found "crazy." The people on twitter who are influencing the culture in this way are NOT politicians and probably do not even vote. I do NOT believe that a politician on the President's level can actually move the culture to the left or the right. You have to remember- identifying pronouns became more prolific during Trump's presidency. |
