He tried the do you know who I am. It’s on camera. He asked the ESPN reporter to “help,” as in, explain to this cop I’m a big deal and can violate traffic laws as I wish. Let me go at once, I have an important smoothie to nosh and driving range balls to hit. 🤣🤣🤣

My best guess is that the first cop waived him through and didn’t communicate that to the second cop. Fine. But Scottie didn’t stop for the second cop, which is where he screwed up. If you’re stopped again, you have to stop and explain again, and get waived through again.

Too bad there’s no body cam. I wonder if the ESPN reporter referenced has given a statement.

Yeah, there's no body cam. That cop didn't follow protocol. Why was he even grabbing the door handle instead of knocking on the window to get Scottie's attention? We're all fallible. Not a chance in hell Scottie would deliberately drag the cop.

Now? Please. Everyone has encountered a rude and unhelpful cop at some point. I had an ass pull me over once b/c he was in an unmarked car with just a little light on his dash that I couldn't see. I didn't pull over to let him pass because I didn't even see him. He made me pull over and got in my face with his bull horn and made me repeat some nonsense like "I will always pull over for authorities" or whatever it was to degrade and humiliate me. I was about 24 years old. Then he went on his way. This was over 20 years ago. Seemed like a power trip to me at the time. We were both white.

Dude, a worker was just killed in a traffic accident. It’s raining. It’s dark. And this spoiled golfer thinks he should reckless drive against traffic to avoid waiting in line. And then ignore a cop directing traffic.

He screwed up. Bottom line. There’s no conspiracy by a cop. The cop was out there trying to make the roadway safe for everyone.
