Marylanders: Did you regret not choosing Virginia when it came time to apply to college?

Kiplinger has rankings for best buys in public education. Virginia has 4 schools in the top 25 for in state tuition: UVa, W&M, James Madison and Va Tech. Maryland has one UMd.

You forgot google,seinfeld,curb your enthusiam. the wire, watergate. the muppets, the octane system, pulse doppler radar, boondocks, linear programming, under armour, frequent flyer programs,sirius satellite, insulin pumps, implanted defibulators, artificial pancreas, nautica, jumbotrons, more nobels, more pulitzers, more academy awards, more national championships, higher acedemic rankings in any subject that requires math, science or analytical skills, superior morality in integrating far earlier , located in a town with fewer incidents of violent crime. AND...our students are less likely to murder fellow students.....congratulations you lose...just like the Uva mens soccer, womens soccer, field hockey and football teams who allgot their ass kicked by their future employers Umd students!!!! |

| I don't have a dog in this fight. I went to USNA and my daughter goes to Johns Hopkins. But I must admit the Umd booster is cleaning your clocks. The Va people should really stop calling Uva "an academic village". It is laughable, only Harvard, MIT, or Princeton should say that and they have the character and mental self assurance not to. Couldn't possibly be more generic "state U" crap - like 50 commercials during ACC games strung together. Yawn. Yeah, we'll let the Marylanders "clean our clocks." And, most likely, our yards, too. |

| We would be happy to start a contracting company to clean grounds and landscape the prisons, cemeteries, and mental institutions that house so many of the unfortunate Virginia students. It would probably be a very lucrative contract. |
