The girls’ results don’t support this ludicrous claim.

At competitive level meaning HS kids.. absolute garbage

Girls
05/06 1-5-3 -13 GD
07 2-7 -33GD!!!!
08 7-2
09 0-9 -25 GD

Boys
05/06 1-4-2
07 3-4
08 0-7
09 1-6

Yep, you picked the older years for a club midway through its second season. The older years are competing against teams that have been together for many years. VYS and BRYC lost players to those clubs years before Brave formed, and I don’t know why they would move to Brave.

10G & 11G are both 5-3-1. 3 of the 4 girls’ teams coached by VYS coaches have winning records.

If you think having young age groups is indicative of how they will play in HS you are in a rude awakening. They will get cherry picked. Claiming success when over 50% is getting smoked is comical. Sorry Brave is a joke

that is funny.

Yep because in 2 years they will lose ECNL status. And those kids will either not be playing or will be bench warmer on what ever team they end up.

So what do the Arlington girls look like at those “competitive” years? How do they compare to Brave?

Calling the entire club garbage and a joke sounds like you're disgruntled and have a wordy axe to grind. Sounds like you want all of these you girls and teenagers to fail to make yourself feel better which says more about you than the club. Gook luck with that.

You clearly don't know MV LOL. He wouldn't come to the players defense on a board like this. I'm a BRAVE 09 parent annoyed with your commentary because you clearly want the entire club fail and with it, these kids. Go away

Nobody wants the kids to fail. BRAVE will throw your kid - and if not your kid, at least 90% of the 09 team given their results - to the wolves in a heartbeat. Don’t kid yourself and don’t be so quick to stand up for people who won’t think twice about kicking you and yours to the curb.

Brave might be in its second season because they changed the name, but BRYC is one of the ECNL originals. They aren’t a new club. Brave *should* be one of the clubs that had a leg up in the older ages, but they clearly don’t. You are right that’s it’s too late now to do anything about it now though.

Brave will get better. Kids who are good players from other clubs but not getting playing time will go to Brave. Their 2011 is doing great! With great coaching - I can see the club is getting stronger over the years but it will take time.
Anonymous
Brave will be fine. That's just competition. I do hope Brave, BRYC, Burke, and VYS find common ground together though.

If you look at the younger ages BRYC and Vienna have between 8 and 10 teams on the Boys and Girls side at each U9 and U10. Braddock Road used to just field 2.
That’s the kind of pipeline ECNL wants to see. As long as there is positive movement and numbers they’d be dumb to kick BRAVE out. For who?
If they didn’t do it 2 years ago and they keep bringing in teams for mergers like they’ve done the last 3 years I think the “they are going to be kicked out” people or one disgruntled Dad are just voicing their wishes based on bitterness.
I think it’ll take more than 2 years to rebuild especially on the boys side but I’m not ruling them out in the future.
And who knows some FCV girls could make a big difference.

Your kids must be very proud to have a dad who comes on a message board and anonymously brags about results involving 10-year-old soccer players.

Says the person who trashed another who is unhappy with Brave. Enjoy wasting money to watch your kid lose so you can say they play ENCL..Brave is not only the worst VA club by far, they are the one of the worst ECNL clubs in general. They are going to lose ECNL status if there is not a big turn around.
