Brave 09g rant

The girls’ results don’t support this ludicrous claim.

Ah the holidays, the time of year when the ‘they are getting booted out’ rumors start on DCUM. Sometimes it’s Brave or Union but always with the goal of messing with tryouts.
Must be 5 or 6 years now, haven’t seen anyone booted just mergers.

Anonymous wrote:Brave is a joke at this point. My 07 tried out a few years ago and the coach said that they already had 7 defenders on the roster, so despite her showing very well, there wasn't a spot. That's fine, but your goal differential was -40 the year prior. Sounds like you might need a completely new back line...

What does this mean? We are a BRAVE family- is there going to be some sort of additional merge? Or do you mean by Vienna?

Yep, you picked the older years for a club midway through its second season. The older years are competing against teams that have been together for many years. VYS and BRYC lost players to those clubs years before Brave formed, and I don’t know why they would move to Brave.

10G & 11G are both 5-3-1. 3 of the 4 girls’ teams coached by VYS coaches have winning records.

In 2 yrs BRAVE will be first in every age group. Definitely on the girls, probably boys too.

Just let the kids the play without the #worldshittiestdad commenting on the teams of teenagers. These kids aren't garbage, but you are for calling them garbage. They are kids, doing their best. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't Not your problem. Move on. Players read this board, too. Pathetic they have to read how grown people behave behind a keyboard. But then, you are probably the snarky dad in the corner yelling at the 15 year old sideline referee too. Pretty sure you are an 07DAD that is still upset your DC wasn't picked up for team with that GD!!!!!! Be happy where your DC landed and move on or seek therapy for not being able to let it go.

that is funny.

If this 09 team is representative of what Brave is offering then buyer beware. Sounds like a s show. Maybe they care more about other age groups with more upside but if they’re willing to write off entire age groups, that is telling.

Boys are included, try reading. Every boy team has a losing record. Brave is currently a place kids go when then cant make a competitive ECNL

Boys
10s are 2-3-2
11s are 1-6..
