Thinking back on the posts by Joe's friends, I think why Joe and Christine thought he was there may have been different from the viewpoint of the other 2. I think he may have been lured and an attempt was made to frame him and to use his presence as a motive.

The elaborate, both au pair and Brendan out of the house set up, etc. goes to pre-planning for me, as does ensnaring Joe in the whole mess.

When did the au pair begin describing him as her boyfriend on socials? Before or after 2 other people ended up dead?

Almost, yet the night before was B's birthday and (I live in the neighborhood and know this as fact) one of the neighbors was at the house to wish him happy birthday and everything seemed normal.

Keep in mind that Joe had a girlfriend at the time of his death. But from what I’ve heard, she was aware of the casual hook ups he would do on the kinks sites.

If Joe was "lured" and LE can prove it, Brendan will be facing first-degree murder. A good outcome IMO.

This neighborhood is in Oak Hill and is in a different zip code from downtown Herndon. Much more affluent and thus why this murder case has very high visibility.

Makes sense, but in response to the theory of the PP, it seems unlikely to that me that Christine would be having some type of sexual encounter with Joe and also flip out if she found out about BB and the AP. But everything about this story is odd.

I continue to think there’s no plausible way they planned to pin a stabbing on the dude. If they wanted to frame him for murder they would use the gun. How do you stage a stabbing? You can’t.

Seems high end for a fed and a nurse and au pairs are not that cheap, esp for just one kid.

I know there have been neighbors on here, how are folks reacting? Seems like a close community, kids would have playdates, etc. How was recent vibe between Brendan and au pair? Her socials posts were dumb. They must have not cared how it looked.

Joe was fairly new to this mess, I think he was brought in under one pretext to be set up to take the fall or provide a motive, etc.

They were not kicked out of the house, Brendan had gone to work that morning and au pair was out briefly on some pretext. The 3 had been home overnight since Brendan's birthday. Joe arrived in the morning after Brendan left.

People had to have seen the car, people would be going to work, walking dogs, walking kids to the bus, etc. In those neighborhoods everything is observed, there is no anonymity. So I don't buy that Christine was having him come in some under the radar scenario for that reason and also au pair and kid in the house. If it was hook up there are hotels, cars, etc. That is why I think Joe and Christine thought they were doing this with Brendan's knowledge bc 100% he would know anyway. It was key to have him there for the plan for there to be a fall guy.

What has it been like for people in the neighborhood socializing with Brendan in the past months? Was the au pair involved in socializing with couples in the neighborhood?

The hang up was that JR didn’t have a gun. So they would have had to come up with a gun for him to use or explain how he accessed BB’s gun. Using two different methods would suggest two different crimes. Killing both with a gun would suggest that one person killed both.
