I suspect forensics supports BB literally having more of a "hand" in how it all went down.

Thinking back on the posts by Joe's friends, I think why Joe and Christine thought he was there may have been different from the viewpoint of the other 2. I think he may have been lured and an attempt was made to frame him and to use his presence as a motive.

The elaborate, both au pair and Brendan out of the house set up, etc. goes to pre-planning for me, as does ensnaring Joe in the whole mess.

When did the au pair begin describing him as her boyfriend on socials? Before or after 2 other people ended up dead? [/quote]

If Joe was "lured" and LE can prove it, Brendan will be facing first-degree murder. A good outcome IMO.
