Navy Elementary New Principal

The kiss n ride is a disaster. They won't let people in the west ox lot entrance. They are making everyone queue up on Thompson. Morons start to queue up at 250 and start blocking the entire road for 30min or more. How is this acceptable? Everyone is making illegal turns or entering in tht wrong way on Thompson. Meanwhile the parking lot is totally empty. I miss Coch!

Why do so many parents at Navy do the kiss and ride? It seems like such a hassle. Why not just have kids ride the bus and save the headache?

I actually thought it was great! No more near misses in the parking lot with people coming in on both sided and tons of walkers. Why do parents need to park and walk and pick up their kids? That makes no sense. If you’re driving to pick up your kid. Get in line. That’s what the real problem is!

Our bus gets to our neighborhood really late. I like getting my kids home earlier.

They have always had that problem. Thompson got backed up last year too, much worse. It wasn’t as backed up into the neighborhood like it used to be. I think it’s going faster because people aren’t parking now.

Yes this. Basically bet people get there at 250 to line up thru wind up blocking the stretch of road for a good 40 min. It's so obnoxious.

People were making illegal u turns on Thompson or going in through the way you are supposed to exit. Many did it. This is not safe. They need to open up the entrance on west ox or redesign the parking lot or not keep kids on the bus for 45min when they live 5 min away.
