You don’t understand how this works. WME is an agent Meghan hired to try to find her jobs. If they are successful, she will pay them a cut of whatever deal they help her sign. It’s similar to how you hire a real estate agent to help you find a house. Signing with WME is not new deal for Meghan. What it means is she had to hire a top talent agent to hustle to try to find her work because the deals aren’t landing in her lap. We’ll see if they are successful and are able to land her any jobs. The Spotify news will not help and if Netflix drops them, I suspect it will be a challenge for her to secure any meaningful work. No doubt she can shill some type of product and get a job either on a reality show or perhaps another game show, but the days of $100M and $20M gigs are likely over.

Lol the five episode podcast only won “awards” arranged by the marketing team, and it only went to #1 bc it was marketing to do so. You don’t know how the industry works.

Her end game has always been settling in California, a community property state where she will get 50% in ten years, and where the US will have jurisdiction over custody of the children, who in the UK are literally in the custody of the monarch (little known fact) bc they are in the royal lineage.

Agree. She never planned a quiet life in Canada. She’s spent her entire life trying to l move up the Hollywood ladder. It was always her goal to go back to California and achieve the success that previously eluded her. I think Harry would have happily stayed in Canada.

Johnny Depp got $20M for a three-year contract. WME will get around 10% for its cut. The feds and CA will take about 45% in taxes. The leaves less than $4M/year for three years IF she’s able to secure a deal equal to what Depp made. See previous posts on expenses. They undoubtedly burn through more than $4M/year.

The only people who think they are financially secure for life are those who don't have two nickels to rub together and don't understand how expensive their lifestyle is. The desperation of these two to find new profitable ventures makes it apparent how insecure they believe their financial situation is. They need hundreds of millions to be able to rest easy and they are nowhere close to that. They are barely making ends meet year to year as it is.
