Just because YOU chose to do this, doesn't mean everyone does. My dad had a pistol with a swastika carved in it. A member of the family still has it. We are not Nazis. |
Sure, totally believable. |
Can we just all agree that Clarence doesn’t have mirrors in this house now?

You do know that Crow didn’t serve in WWII, don’t you? Do you understand that? Can you see the difference? |
? |
Collecting things does not mean approval. He also has a garden of fallen leaders--representing the fall of communism and fascism. Can you understand that? I've travelled a lot and there are a lot of "odd" museums. |
DP. Just drop this point, you're stretching it. Dude is a big collector of history artifacts and has also has a huge collection of communist statues. Is he a commie as well? |
Um, that's really weird. Crow has Nazi crap, a garden of fallen dictators, and essentially collects Supreme Court justices. That's Dr. Evil adjacent right there. |
His home is not a museum. A museum, generally, tends to put things in their proper educational context, which is why during the biggest dustup about getting Confederate statues taken down a lot of the people wanted them down out of their places of honor and into a museum that would provide context. Putting them on display in the dining room is weeeeeird. Like Madison Cawthorn visiting the Eagle’s Nest as one of his bucket list items weird. |
Plus his brother finances human trafficking! And is involved with Sarah Ferguson! https://dockets.justia.com/docket/california/cacdce/2:2022cv07957/866933 https://radaronline.com/p/billionaire-associate-prince-andrew-sarah-ferguson-accused-bankrolling-trafficking-ring/ |
Madison Cawthorn may be weird--but wanting to visit the Eagle's Nest is not weird. It is absolutely not a shrine to Hitler as you seem to think. It has a phenomenal view and is an engineering feat. It is not a Hitler museum. After WWII until after the wall fell, Berchtesgaden had US hotels in the area for American soldiers. Hotels that were won from Hitler. Kind of satisfying to think that he lost so badly that his enemies were living in his holiday spaces. |

You’re an idiot. As a Jew, it’s important for such memorabilia to be preserved, otherwise Holocaust deniers have more fuel for the fire. |
He has a monument to fascism. Can you understand that? |
Preserved. In a museum. With interpretation. |
