| Guys can we get back to shitting on Bethany please? I’m not interested in debating language, I’m interested in laughing at a smug idiot |
Congrats, I guess? |
| Lmao at Bethany retweeting someone claiming that the left is losing “normies.” |
|
Haha. Bethany’s co-author tweeted about how they sold “double enough books” to be on NYT Bestsellers list and yet they aren’t. Someone replied:
But you get to whine, complain, take a swipe at The NY Times, & present yourself as a victim. I believe that’s known as “conservative superfecta”. It begs the question: why are you so concerned about recognition from people you hate, but nothing you do is supposed to make sense |
+1 If “the left” was losing “normies” the midterms would have looked very different. |
Exactly this. |
|
It's not even that she can't define it. She literally just has zero to say when asked what the word means. She didn't have to give a dictionary definition - she could have just told stories or given examples. She just completely blanked. |
| Rutgers grad? |
| If you’re gonna show up on teevee wearing big glasses, you’ve got to be able to answer questions. |
Exactly. What continues to get me is that we have a very vague word, right? People can point it out when they see it but it’s difficult to define. But Bethany will not stop using it and goes on to write a book about it. Fine. What continues to astound me is that at no point during the writing or review process, she and her coauthor thought “We should come up with a succinct definition for when we’re doing interviews and book talks.” |
The word is "woke" and the rest of your post is strawman arguments. |
|
Did anyone post Bethany's mask yet? That was a great one.
