Just wow. To talk so authoritatively about something you can’t even define tells you all you need to know. She just asked her for a personal definition and she couldn’t even articulate some basics of what it means to her. |
Hahahahaha, this is too painful to watch. |
The reality is, if she were talking to Tucker Carlson she would have been able to rattle off a definition without thought.
Her problem is that she was asked by a Black person and she was having trouble coming up with a way to word it in a way that didn't show her racism. |
+1 That's exactly what's happening here. People railing against "wokism" are racists. |
She spent a whole chapter in her "book" on woke but can't come up with a succinct description. How embarrassing. These are the thought leaders among the Republicans? |
Compare also to the definition of "woke" that DeSantis's legal team gave - "the notion that there are injustices in the world, and that we should do something about it."
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/12/05/desantis-florida-woke-critical-race-theory/ But here's the thing - there ARE injustices in the world. And leaders in civil society SHOULD be doing something about it. "Anti-woke" is toxic reactionary nonsense. |
Ding ding ding. Can’t dog whistle in front of an educated black woman without being skewered. Mandel knew she was f#cked. |
Antifa/CRT/Woke are GOP euphemisms signaling white racism.
It is pretty simple. |
Because the one time that republicans had to define it under oath, the definition they came up with was pretty damning. According to his own AG they are launching their crusade against, "the belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them" |
Yoooooo! This is hilarious.
Do they really have surveys asking if people self-identify as woke? WTF. |
They really just mean black people and white liberals. It’s only a matter of time before they regain power and try to force people to wear “WOKE” badges on their clothes. |
