The praise. The thank yous. The touches. The eyelash batting. The long gazed into his eyes. Men are honestly very easy to please. My mom was a whore and she was the BEST whore. Tee hee.
Seek a therapist sweetie. That is not a healthy way to grow up. Aside from that yes, Sanchez is obviously a manipulative gold digger. They much is clear.

Plus, the golddigger PP seems to think it's possible to "use the tricks for good" and create a stable marriage. How do we know her marriage really IS happy and stable, if it's built on her habits of manipulation? All it would take would be for the family to be thrown into crisis, and golddigger PP's true colors would come out. Manipulation ain't a foundation to build a marriage on.

Seems like wishful thinking on your part that my marriage couldn’t withstand a crisis. And what a weird thing to hope for! Aside from being wrong (survived many crises well because I always made sure to prioritize his feelings) it’s nuts that you are rooting against me.

I’m guessing you have an unhappy marriage and need to believe all this.

Well, as Cringey as she and her family are, Cringe at least went to a T50 university and graduated.

Cringe is way more educated than her husband, too.

Gold digger daughter - I would read your memoir or a novelized version of it. Please have that on my desk by next week.

This is maybe for another thread - but did you use the lessons your mom taught you or did you go another path but keep these tucked away as a sort of secret knowledge about how the world works? Or some mix? How's your mom now?

While you fellate Northwestern, the rest of us will relax with our popcorn and watch Cringe self-destruct.

I don't care, just poitning out that the "Sanchez is SO uneducated and went to community college" crowd can't really make the same statement about her.

I think like anyone I absorbed a lot about the relationships I grew up having modeled for me. But my mom was more explicit than other moms I think, and would tell me point blank certain things she did to make men feel good. As an example, any time we went out to dinner, she would stop, touch his arm, look into his eyes and say some combination of “thank you so much for that. It was absolutely perfect. I’m so grateful you work so hard to make money to pay for a dinner like that. I feel so lucky.”

I thought this was SO CHEESY as a kid and I thought any guy who would fall for it was a total schmuck. But then when I got older I realized that the vast majority of men want that kind of thing. So I do do it, but in ways that feel authentic to me. One thing that comes to mind is when he got a professional accolade, I made sure to tell a lot of people in our life about it, and to explain why it was important to his mom in front of him, in a way that highlighted I was proud of him.

The way I diverged from my mother is that I was always willing to tell my husband when I was mad or when he was screwing up. My mom in contrast is highly conflict avoidant and instead just shut down when things weren’t tolerable to her anymore. Then she’d end up divorcing and remarrying.

My mom is now married to her 4th husband who is a trust fund baby. They’re traveling a ton and having a grand old time.

+1 (Although I don't think I'd use such cutting words.) gold digger PP doesn't seem healthy

This is all fiction. You’re probably a 200 lb work from home spinster.

If he wants more sex, I'm sure he can easily get it on the side.

No way. She looks like a trashy NJ housewife who had some plastic surgery go wrong. He could do SO much better.

Who would be a suitable match for Bezos. A lot of people on this thread think Sanchez is not right for him, but who would be? Genuinely curious.

Do people think she's not right for him, or do they just find it hard to believe he's buying what she's selling? It makes me think less of him (I didn't think much of him before because I'm not a fan of billionaires), but she's getting her needs met by meeting his (shallow) needs.

+ 2. The responses some of the bitter slags are putting towards the poster with the much-married, currently happy mother, are really appalling. What the hell has SHE done to earn the vitriol? Fail to attack Lauren Sanchez, a total stranger? Cool.

I really like Mackenzie - she’s so smart and so deeply generous-seeming. I know I read that Toni Morrison really liked having her as a student at Princeton, so Mackenzie’s massive donations to a swath of charitable endeavors that work to educate and uplift underserved populations, for the arts, for everyone, really, are amazing. She’s cool, and I’m sorry her marriage is over, at least it was dealt with quickly. The public implosion of her life by her ex and his lover sucks, a ton. But….Bezos and Sanchez seem happy - whether it’s a constant stream of champagne and enthusiastic oral, who knows, but it’s apparently working for them. I had no idea he was adopted by a Cuban family and that he and she were born in New Mexico. They have stuff in common. Why hate? It makes no impact on me (and we try to avoid ordering on Amazon for lots of reasons, but not THIS reason.)

Daughter of much married mom, keep posting. You’re cool.

I'm sure she gets TONS of things paid for by Bezos but this is a little absurd. She wasn't a starving orphan. She *currently* owns a production company. She had remunerative jobs before meeting him. If they break up, she will be able to more than meet her needs.
