+1 they got to know each other at first because their families/kids were all friendly. She looks like she is the type to fawn all over her man and he probably is at the billionaire stage where he likes that. I do give him an ounce of credit for cheating with a woman who is more or less his age rather than a supermodel in her 20s

He's really into her. It's probably some combo of he likes her personality and she's sexy. She's hot and fun and he wants that for a change. He does seem to be enjoying this new phase of life. If DH and I ever divorce, then he'll probably think the next woman is more fun than I am because raising kids and the daily rut isn't fun or sexy. She dated the hot, athletic guys and was absolutely beautiful when she was younger. He was never included in that scene before and it probably makes him feel desirable to date this woman the athletes lusted over. Plus she's in his orbit of wealthy, famous people. He was never going to go for some UMC woman.

I doubt there are THAT many hot helicopter pilots. She is fairly unique in that regard.
