Pride and Prejudice with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth.

Emma with Kate Beckinsale and Mark Strong.

Ok, but be specific. The best scene is when he gives her his best sexy eyes when she’s at the piano with his sister, and she gives them right back.

Yes, l watch that once a year every Christmas. She plays a song from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro “Voi che sapete” (You, women, who know what love is).
It’s an anachronism because it had not been composed by the year the story is supposedly taking place, but l love it anyway.

NP. I came here to post this. But it’s not when they exchange glances, it’s when she begins singing and he looks like this:

Yes to Last of the Mohicans.

Conversely I loved the Julian Sands scenes from A Room with a View, and wanted Lucy to dump Cecil, the Daniel Day-Lewis character in that one.

PP here - YES! Which completely speaks to DDL's spectacular acting. He can transform from the skinny, annoying little dweeb Cecil to the unbelievably masculine and gorgeous Hawkeye.

Haven't read the entire thread and not sure if this is mentioned yet, but Before Sunset, "Baby, you are going to miss that plane."

Not the best movie, but OMG did I love River Phoenix!

Had he lived, River would have gotten many of the roles Leo did. And River would have done a better job. He exuded sexy emotion and was so likeable. Sigh.

When Troy comes back in Reality Bites.

If you’re from that generation, you knew a Troy. That entire movie is romantic sexual tension that Gen X totally related to. Sigh.

He was less callow than Leo, even at that young age.

This is more sexy than romantic but in the Borne Identity when after he dyes her hair, she blocks his way out of the bathroom, and then he grabs her face and kisses her. I'm not making it sound good right here but the look he gives her, OMG.

FWIW I read somewhere that River Phoenix was developing “The Basketball Diaries” years before DiCaprio got the role.

Wind in His Hair screaming to Dances with Wolves at the end of the movie.
