Many, many scenes in Crash Landing on You, but especially:
1. the candle in the market scene 2. the EPIC scene on the road |
I can’t believe no one has mentioned the gazebo scene with Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer in The Sound Of Music! Am I the only one who lost my mind over this? |
Yes, this has so so many good ones! |
This is such a beautiful movie and so romantic and I hate hate hate Armie Hammer for being a gross freak in real life. |
You've Got Mail when Joe wipes away Kathleen's tears and sweetly says "Don't cry shop-girl." |
Love this scene! I’ll add the end of Grease, I have a soft spot for You’re the One that I Want. |
“I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly.” ❤️ |
Yes. And it’s about sisterly love too. When she and Nina finally hug it always makes me tear up. Also, Mick’s serenade of “Billie I Believe in You” is so touching and funny and sweet |
So many moments in Offspring. So jealous of those who get to watch it for the first time. |
My favorite is Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr performing "Shall we Dance" in The King and I: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=6&v=QgVPnWmUqd4&feature=emb_logo&ab_channel=Rodgers%26Hammerstein
Look at the way he looks at her at 3:22! Sizzling! I also love the Laendler scene in The Sound of Music. Gets me every time! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUFBOC6lQoo&ab_channel=fandommovies |
A little more lowbrow, but I loved some of the Luke and Lorelei scenes in Gilmore girls. Til they went and made her sleep with Christopher. Grrrrr |
Red walking towards Andy on the beach at the end of The Shawshank Redemption. |
The library/green dress scene in "Atonement" |
Yes to Last of the Mohicans. Conversely I loved the Julian Sands scenes from A Room with a View, and wanted Lucy to dump Cecil, the Daniel Day-Lewis character in that one. |
These have been mentioned in some form on this thread but I must repost them:
The final scene in Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. Darcy’s tone, the cinematography, the setting, just perfect The Notebook but when Noah and Ally are at the nursing home and she ‘comes back to him’ and they dance together. It is heartbreaking and romantic and makes me cry every time The end of You’ve Got Mail. Totally cheesy movie but finding love in a flowery garden in NYC in the spring, just perfect |
