They have got nothing after the devastating committee hearings. They are like carp trapped in a drying pond. All they have now is to push lies, hate and try to politicize the deaths of people they hate. They whine about the feds and at the same time talk about secession. They are just so tiresome. Oh its Biden’s fault which we all know is lie but they have nothing else to post. They have lost. |

AOC represented NY when she went to the border crying previously. It didn't stop her then. Why now?
They're probably waiting until millions flow in and then execute a big push for amnesty for all 13+ million. |
+1 I grew up a little North of Brownsville, TX. Oh yeah. Nobody went out at night as the illegals and hunters would be out. They all would be in ditches on the side of the highway holding up buckets when they would pop up as a car came by. People often disappeared as well who tried to help them. I often wonder if they were carjacked, robbed and killed by illegals trying to get where they needed to go. WE moved to Houston when I was 8 thank God. There were often bushels of illegals found dead in ditches, trucks, vans, and houses in which they stayed waiting for smugglers. It is so sad. |
Find your own GD information. I can say what I want. You people on here always needing cites are insane. It is a forum not a research board. |
When you make an inflammatory accusation, you need to provide a citation. A reputable one. Otherwise, we assume you are FOS. Needless to say.... we assume you are FOS. |

Abbott's border actions found no illegals, no drugs, no weapons or any other kinds of smuggling or contraband. All they found was some oil leaks and some trucks with underinflated tires. At the expense of massive backups, costs to taxpayers of millions of dollars, loss of millions in state revenue, and loss of tens of millions of dollars to American businesses.

Something for Republicans to wake up to: Texas is home to over 4 million illegals. They work, they power a big part of Texas's economy, they shop, they pay rent, et cetera.
It's long past due we figure out a more coherent visa policy. |
Because she chose to garner big publicity to further her bogus career by going down there for photo-ops a few years ago. You don’t remember? The fake tears? |
Oh I remember Abbott having a photo-ops and press conference after the school shooting. He got up there an lied his a$$ off and tried to politicize the deaths of children. Where were you then? Where were you when Abbott tried to blame Biden for the deaths of the people in the truck? It comes down to a matter of trust. People believe and trust AOC. People do not trust or believe Abbott or any conservatives. |
They’re just passing though on the way to California or Montgomery County Maryland |
Yeah, so? I also remember a bunch of Republicans going down to the border to sit in boats surrounded by Border Patrol guys with big guns on the Rio Grande - and then doing nothing after that photo op. What's your point? |
Nope. A huge number of them live and work in Texas. Texas is home to the largest number of illegals in the US. |
Hilarious. No, not a chance. She’s a disaster. Only crazy left-wing fringe people trust AOC. She’s a selfish self-promoter, just like most politicians. |
Have you ever been to the border? Gone to Mexico and come back in? |

It was just reported that these individuals paid to be smuggled in. They were not in the truck against their will. One of the men had snuck across the border previously lived and worked in Ohio, went back to Mexico to visit family and was sneaking back in to Ohio on this unfortunate trip.
The cartels run our borders under the Biden presidency. We will only see more incidents like this unless and until Biden decides that his border policies are a liability for him and the Democratic party. Because that is what it will take. I am convinced that his policies are intentional and that he wants more illegal immigration. But, if he sees it as a liability, he MAY change course.
There have been more incidents like this an I agree that there will be more. The media chooses not to put too much emphasis on them, however. And the public seems to tolerate these types of stories. I am in a super liberal area. Honestly, unchecked illegal immigration affects my life and my family’s life on a daily basis. As is the case for most of my neighbors. Doesn’t matter though, they all rabidly support the Democrats and rabidly support policies that promote undocumented immigrants. Not quite sure of the logic, but I don’t see Biden or the Democrats changing course with respect to this issue.
DP. I would frankly love to see a DeSantis presidency - or someone similar. No way would he put up with this nonsense at the border.
I used to vote for Democrats. I would vote for DeSantis in a heartbeat. For this issue and for his stance on vaccine mandates and his views on education.
LOL @ “I used to vote for Democrats”. |
