If you know even the basic facts about migration, you will know that there are "push" and "pull" factors that affect migration patterns. If more people are coming to the US through riskier and riskier routes, it is because the situation in their home country is so bad that they will literally risk their lives to come to the US. We're not unique in this regard. Look at the folks washing up on shore in Spain, Italy, and Greece. |
And, right now, that "pull" factor is the belief that they will get in ..... and they are right, because most of them do. Biden has done ZIP to deal with the constant, unabated illegal migration to our country. In fact, he has encouraged it with his policies and rhetoric. He doesn't really care about the lives of these migrants. Nor does he care about the welfare of the citizens of the US - especially those in border towns. |
