How did this person get their cell phone in the court room? Every other court room I’ve ever been in has not allowed cell phones. You have to either leave them in your car or you have to leave them on the first floor with the clerk. Never. And I’ve been practicing over 20 years. And you can’t sneak it in because you go through a metal detector to get inside the building.

I’m guessing one of Amber’s lawyers brought this person’s phone in since there are so many references to this woman acting like she was part of the legal team.

Update to this. Just asked a friend whose in court weekly in FFX, everyone is now allowed to bring their phones in. He said that rule changed within the last 10 years ago.

My take, he doesn't want to win since the burden of proof is too high for him to win.
But I think the trial is so he can tell his side of the story, that she "gave as much as she got" - not a true victim as she claims.

He doesn't want his public legacy for his kids as "wife beater"- as parent, this is a strong motivation.

My take - He consumed so much drink and drugs that he has no idea how he behaved when stoned/ drunk. He is enraged that this pretty young defiant filly did not defer to him as a much more established and male Hollywood star.

For his children’s sake he should have tried to settle this out if court using a mediator. It is very sad for them.

I hope both parties resolve this with dignity and honesty. Both are to blame but it is highly likely that Depp was violent when stoned or drunk.

I don’t get why people think she’s gorgeous. She’s pointy and harsh looking. If not for her being in the news with Dell, I wouldn’t know who she was. She’s has a generic Hollywood. She seems to have a graveyard vibe. The pictures I see don’t present her with any vitality.

I think she was gorgeous when she was younger. But years of drug and alcohol are apparent on her non-photoshopped face that we are seeing in the courtroom.
