29 is very good. We didn’t submit SAT or ACT. Indiana is becoming very popular. DD also applied to LSU and waiting. Not hopeful after seeing this deferral. Your kid will get in some good schools with 29!

We're at 2 weeks post acceptance but no word on $$. Does notification come via the portal or snail mail?

Received email notifying new document in the portal; actual letter is in the portal.

Thank you, that’s kind. I feel like the whole process is such a crapshoot. Hope your daughter gets into Indiana! It’s a great school. My DC is looking at Auburn, Clemson, GA(big reach), Penn State, Ohio State, TN, and Boulder. Who knows how it will all shake out? Good luck to your daughter and all of the Seniors- it’s a stressful time.

Congrats. My DD went to visit in October and was impressed. Said the people were very friendly and the campus was nice. The area off not so much… But that’s nothing that hasn’t been discussed on this forum. Apparently an awesome school. Stupid question, but did they email you or did you just happen to check your portal on your own?

No. My kid received a merit scholarship and has not yet applied for Pitt Honors. Does anyone know if additional scholarships are available if also admitted to the Honors College?

Has anyone else's child been waiting more than three weeks to hear from Pitt? It's been about 3.5 weeks since DC applied, and all materials are in place, they can access the portal, etc. But no decision yet. DC has pretty strong stats (3.9UW, 4.7 W, 33 ACT) so we had hoped for an acceptance.
