Go after the leadership of the club all you want but don't belittle the players who were recruited to play in college because the school(s) don't meet your arbitrary definition of "...top quality college program..." For many of the SYC players recruited this year, college wasn't even an option without the prospect of playing soccer. Make stupid accusations about EM or DT or SYC but leave the players out of it and find another hobby.

how many are on full scholarships for soccer? How many who have partial scholarships would have qualified for need based aid in the same amount? Soccer isn't basketball or football with full rides readily available to anyone who makes the team. On the boys side, if you are lucky, you get a partial scholarship- a DI team has 9.9 to split across a 29 person roster

That’s also the maximum. Many d1 schools do not fully fund 9.9 scholarships, further limiting the pool of available money to less than 9.9.

no idea who nick is, but the numbers are far less D2 and D3- 9 in D2, none in D3. But convince yourself that these kids wouldn't be in college without soccer all you want

LB hasn't sent any LMVSC players to college. Coach Garza and Annandale club who developed the boys until U17 did a great job!

Yah, LB, you can be crammed one 1/8th of the field with 7 other teams at each and every practice. You meet a lot of new friends when every time you turn around there is always someone in your face. Bonus: the kids get an easy practice because there is no space to ever run!
