She's raising the heir to the throne.

Diana didn't really even try to do that job. Will knows that firsthand, and he wants Kate to actually be a mother.

The current Queen certainly didn't mother her children...and let's just say that didn't end well.

Kate works enough. As we emerge from the pandemic in a year and her kids are little older, I'm sure we will see more of Kate.

Plus, I'm sure there is a bit of a sensitivity with Will not wanting his more interesting young family to outshine his father--who has preparing his entire life for a job he hasn't actually gotten yet. My sense is Will and Charles are a bit of team: let Dad have his time, do what he's asked, and enjoy his family while he can.

What will the excuse be when this loving super mom ships her preteens off to boarding school?

Are you a raging misogynist or something? What is your deal with obsessing over Kate's work schedule? Or are you one of the harpies who participates in all the SAHM vs WOHM debates on here who just can't abide by the fact that people's lives are different? In the real world, nobody cares much about how Kate spends her time.

DP - it’s a raging misogynist to ask what she does all day?

The Queen of the Netherlands leads IMF negotiations.

The Queen of Jordan chairs the World Humanitarian Forum summit.

The Queen of Spain is a United Nations Ambassador.

All of this on top of their extraordinarily busy engagement schedules within their respective countries. And being mothers.

What does Kate DO all day?

Has she been upgraded to Queen?

Do you need to be Queen to have a passion for something? Anything? And as Queens their schedules are actually more demanding not less than when they were all just waiting in the wings.

Your “passion” is obvious. No shit their schedules are more demanding as queen. But Kate is two steps away from queen. There is something seriously weong with you. Go rail on Camilla if you want to get closer to apples to apples.

+1000. You give THREE QUEENS as a comparison so you are an idiot.

NP. Not sure why you have such high expectations of Kate. Her life’s ambition was to marry well. Now, her passion is to be a good wife, mother, and homemaker. Millions of women are very similar. Why are you expecting more than that from her?

Also, can you imagine Kate in one of those roles you mentioned above? Laughable. She can barely string two words together in public. Leave her alone and let her be a wife and mother!

She can’t keep having babies or claiming she’s watching her kids when they aren’t there! Even now she has a gazillion nannies and maids and servants

Your jealousy is unattractive. Maybe you should get a job so you have less time to worry about thins that have nothing to do with you. What value do you add to society?

She seems like a smart girl so it’s quite weird how uninterested in everything she is.

Does Camilla? It's strange that people are so hyper focused on Kate who has to take a backseat to her in-laws. Why isn't anyone expecting more out of Camilla and disappointed in her lack of focus and accomplishments. Compared to the other queens, what has Camilla done?

The Duchess has the intelligence to understand where her role fits in and how does it evolve as the monarchy evolves. Her moves are well thought out and planned. She is playing a very long game which includes, amongst other things, ensuring that the next heir to the throne and his siblings have the emotional stability and guidance to lead stable and fulfilling lives.

She is much liked by the British public and I assume the courtiers and staff like her too because she clearly got a promotion this year.

Why are you so jealous of Kate? She is no different from millions of very rich women who spend their time as they please. You just look foolish dripping with envy. And are you really too dumb to know the difference in position between Kate and an actual Queen?

She is much liked by the older half of the British public. Same with the rest of the BRF. Broken down by age, she is less popular with younger Britons.

And? When they have the money and the power to do something about it maybe they will. Or maybe they will become complacent like every other generation before them. Why are you agitating for some kind of revolution, what do you get out of it?

Can you answer a question without constantly assuming jealousy?

The American public asked where Melania was all day when she disappeared for months at a time.

Turns out the answer was - getting plastic surgery and re-negotiating her pre-nup. For four years.
