Joe is out

Joe is fine. He just decided doing two jobs was too much. Well, he was maybe told. Joe is an EXCELLENT at governing, he’s poor at campaigning. And the vines were off for the moment. I was 100% behind him staying in. I was surprised of the sense of relief and excitement I felt when he announced he was not running and endorsing VP Harris.

Joe Biden will go down as not only one of the greatest Presidents but as a hero who saved America by uplifting VP Harris, a Black/Asian/young/tough/smart woman. She will prosecute the case against MAGA, especially abortion.

I don’t think he is fine. I think he is much closer to death than we have been told.

That alone is a massive turn off to a huge number of voters. She's never known what it is like to be a mother of her own kids and had to make sacrifices to make a career and family work.

A presidential candidate who doesn't have kids is just unelectable in this country. It's the way it is.

Five presidents never had children. Even George Washington, the first president didn't have any children. This is middle school level history. Are you from the United States?

I’d rather have a female president who has never had children vs. a male SCOTUS justice who cannot have children make decisions for me and my daughters.

Not to mention that most Republican (or Democrat for that matter) male politicians with kids have not had to "make sacrifices" to make career and family work. Their wives did that for them.

You heard it here first.

You sound like one of those ladies who gets all wrapped up in soap operas and thinks she's part of the story.

Some of the political pundits stand by a Michelle scenario.

Would rather have Kamala, who is smarter and more accomplished. Likely an unpopular view.

Republicans have been saying Michelle is going to run for a decade. She’s not going to. She didn’t even want her husband to run.

Can you name one republican who said that? None of republicans view Michelle more than SAHM.

Just days ago

Michelle Obama is extremely popular but it's partly because she's said she's not interested in politics at all that makes her relatable. She's never sought nor held elected office. She's enjoying expressing herself and wearing her hair and clothes without scrutiny and living her best life. This won't happen.

The Obamas have lost the support of some of the black community because after Trump, they recognize how little Obama did for them

Trump didn’t do anything for black people. Black people already knew that Obama didn’t solve all their problems, because it’s an unreasonable ask for a person in the executive position for max 8 years. They re-elected him because they knew he was a better choice in getting their interests through.

Completely false.

Trump historically low black unemployment
Trump huge funding boosts to HBCU
Trump tons of pardons for incarcerated black men

I think you are talking about Biden. Literally, all of those things have happened under Biden.

I am awaiting the ad of all of the GOP soundbites talking about having the oldest elected president and dementia etc.

And then having Harris's voice track endorsing the message.

Do you have a link for that? I heard her on MSNBC last night and she is 100% behind Harris.

She posted on Twitter that she will ply work for Kamala Harris so I think the poster above you is just another frightened Trump voter.

+1

At 3:11 someone posted a twitter video of Rep Jasmine Crockett being interviewed and she is staunchly behind Harris.

It really does feel like the Republicans are panicking quite a lot. I love that for them.

Who cares what you think?

They aren’t going to run Kamala. It will be Whitmer and Newsom.

Either way Whitmer will be on the ticket. She is the apex predator of the Democratic Party.

And now your party is saddled with an old man with dementia, a rapist, a convicted felon, an insurrectionist, a traitor and a cheat. As Gob Bluth said: “you’ve made a huge tiny mistake.” Enjoy!

Are you screaming laughing that a severely ill man is president?

Can’t run the pa governor. He’s Jewish and won’t get the Michigan vote.

Kamala, or whoever is nominated at the convention, would be wise to pretend like Trump doesn’t exist. Stop talking about democracy. It’s negative and not helping any Dem at the ballot box (no matter how true it may be). Because people who believe this are already voting blue. We need someone with a vision, who helps us be aspirational.

But, Kamala wax talking about their success on LGBTQ issues and trashing Trump on the donor call 2 nights ago. That is a losing strategy. Won’t bring a single independent over.
