Joe is out

Harris would be an unmitigated disaster. She is absolutely useless when it comes to geopolitics. China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea would eat her alive. I wouldn't even doubt if China invaded Taiwan while simultaneously worked with North Korea to invade the South and with Russia to invade Moldova at the same time to completely overwhelm Harris' little mind. And that's while allowing Iran to become nuclear armed.

Joe is fine. He just decided doing two jobs was too much. Well, he was maybe told. Joe is an EXCELLENT at governing, he’s poor at campaigning. And the vines were off for the moment. I was 100% behind him staying in. I was surprised of the sense of relief and excitement I felt when he announced he was not running and endorsing VP Harris.

Joe Biden will go down as not only one of the greatest Presidents but as a hero who saved America by uplifting VP Harris, a Black/Asian/young/tough/smart woman. She will prosecute the case against MAGA, especially abortion.

+1. Which is why Obama, Michelle, Pelosi, Schumer, and Jeffries have not endorsed Harris

Good point. On the world stage, she is like the 5’ trans secret service agent comically trying to protect Trump. Safety should not be entrusted to DEI hires.

To hear them tell it, no Democrat has been bad at anything other than communicating their awesomeness.

Yep, he put his country before himself in the end. It was a selfless act. Fat chance you'd ever see something like that from the GOP.

I see it as the leaders not putting a thumb on the scale. And Michelle Obama doesn’t endorse. She is and always has been a private citizen. Turn off Newsmax.

If you think this was his decision, there is clearly no rational discussion to be had here.

You heard it here first.

You sound like one of those ladies who gets all wrapped up in soap operas and thinks she's part of the story.

Some of the political pundits stand by a Michelle scenario.

Would rather have Kamala, who is smarter and more accomplished. Likely an unpopular view.

Republicans have been saying Michelle is going to run for a decade. She’s not going to. She didn’t even want her husband to run.

Can you name one republican who said that? None of republicans view Michelle more than SAHM.

Just days ago

Michelle Obama is extremely popular but it's partly because she's said she's not interested in politics at all that makes her relatable. She's never sought nor held elected office. She's enjoying expressing herself and wearing her hair and clothes without scrutiny and living her best life. This won't happen.

The Obamas have lost the support of some of the black community because after Trump, they recognize how little Obama did for them

Trump didn’t do anything for black people. Black people already knew that Obama didn’t solve all their problems, because it’s an unreasonable ask for a person in the executive position for max 8 years. They re-elected him because they knew he was a better choice in getting their interests through.

Completely false.

Trump historically low black unemployment
Trump huge funding boosts to HBCU
Trump tons of pardons for incarcerated black men

That's not how it's being reported. And I've never watched NewsMaz. The point is that the party leaders who know Harris is a trainwreck and who are looking for options are not endorsing her

What president doesn’t claim historically low black unemployment, it’s consistently going down, because black people as a group are slowly but surely improving.
I hope that a republican can agree with me that throwing money at education doesn’t fix it.
Is that even a good thing or a thing most people acknowledge if it is true? The presidential pardon makes very little difference in public perception of a presidency.

You are mistaken.

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/511551-donald-trump-has-done-more-for-african-americans-than-we-think/

The jokes write themselves. You’re wrong black dude, cause the Hill knows so much about the African American vote, mhmm. We’ll see in November lmao.
