In fact Christians are the most murdered people in the world, more than any other group by a long shot.

Christianity is the most popular religion in the world, so if people were murdered at random, Christians would be the most murdered people in the world.... This is called base rate neglect.

You are very misinformed. That’s not why they are murdered.

Christians are the most murdered people worldwide solely for simply being Christian.
100,000 are martyred Every. Year.

Christian persecution 'at near genocide levels'

Google will easily yield you many more proofs.

Meanwhile, “ Amnesty International estimates that 5,000 gays and lesbians have been executed there since the 1979 Iranian revolution. Although it is less common now, it still occurs.”
I can’t imagine a county more oppressive and homophobic than Iran, but even if we pretended that all 195 countries in the world had as bad a track record as Iran, which is absurd, that would still be less than 25,000 over 40 years, or 125 a year.

125 lives < 100,000 lives.

But there are no Christian Pride weeks in school, no Christian anti-bullying campaigns in school (in my city you’ll be bullied for being Christian way quicker than for being gay), no forcing people to wear rainbow flags or be fired, no suing gay bakers for refusing to make Trump cakes. Imagine being forced to wear a cross at work or put Cross stickers all over your classroom or be fired.

Sorry I got distracted by all the rainbow clothing at Target on my way to drag queen story hour at our children’s library….what were we talking about again? Oh yeah, how much homosexuals are persecuted. Any stats to back that up?

Let’s add Help One Now and Pure Charity to that list. Smells grifty to me.

He’s got a cool job that allows him to be outdoors and reflect. I’m sure he’s got some regrets and is still putting some pieces of his life back together but I’m happy for him.

This is so spot on. Low drama. Chill. Can you imagine how refreshing that is? Plus she's georgeous. Good for him.

Anyone know how old Texas Barbie is? She looks young.

Someone actually commented that she was too young on one of Brandon’s Instagram pics, and she replied that her and Brandon are actually the same age.

Can’t find it now but I am pretty sure I saw a post once where she said she was in her late 40’s. Also, she has commented about going through menopause so she must be middle-aged. She really looks great. Dresses a little immature in my opinion but to each their own.

I respect Brandon more for sticking to someone his own age. He mentioned their relationship started with endless talks. Doesn’t feel like she’s a rebound but a soft place to come home after being chewed up by quasi Christian empire he built with Jen.

Rachel Hollis's son is gay?

I'd much rather hear about parenting from someone who is actually credible, like Dr. Kevin Leman, author of The Birth Order book and Have a New Kid By Friday.

Jen has experts on with her on the me-courses who are the ones dispensing the wisdom, she is more of a moderator. So it’s a glorified podcast with video that costs between $69 (parenting) and $99 (the rest) per session. I didn’t recognize the names of her experts, but I’m wondering what they receive for their contribution? Exposure to her followers? She says she’s building a video library of these resources so prepare there are more to come. This is so she can glean buyers forever as they look up a video related to an issue of interest to them.

There’s discussing where someone’s words and actions violate their professed values, and then there’s creepy conjecture that no professional worth their salt would ever do with someone they haven’t spoken to in a therapeutic setting.

Completely agree. This thread has taken some weird and uncomfortable turns. Also, I don't understand people backing up Brandon, like he's sitting on some moral high ground here. They are both acting immature and obnoxious.

I’m guessing the support of Brandon stems from him taking ownership for the failure of the marriage due to his battle with addiction. His new relationship seems legitimate despite his juvenile passion for getting hot bod shots of his new girlfriend.

Who’s claimed to be a professional here?

Brandon is gross. His social media is so cringy. His “inspirational” captions that are so basic in nature which often accompany him in his biker garb with his girlfriend who dresses like she is 15 are like a train wreck I can’t stop watching. He is the poster child of a cliche mid life crisis. Yes, I see your big truck and your dumb boot collection and I am still not impressed. Texas forever…how original.

And don’t get me started on Jen.

Rachel Hollis’ 14 year old son never got that option.

Wait, wut? Has he even come out yet? I would assume both Rachel and Dave would be supportive. I don't get the sense either of them are homophobic. Heck Dave's girlfriend's ex husband admits he is bizexual.

Rachel said Jackson gave her permission to tell it on her latest podcast. I personally didn't listen to it, but saw some comments that she'd noted there was some family opposition. Dave has not commented. Floods of comments in her IG post were hateful about it.
Which one of Heidi's ex-husbands is bi?

So charging for stuff you could easily find on YouTube or in podcasts. Got it.

I think this is more opportunistic virtue signaling. It’s like on RHOC how Heather came back imo just to show what an amazing accepting mom she is of her gay kids. One is just starting high school, for Pete’s sake.

It’s parental exploitation imo to put your kids private lives on SM. Its like when I see friends’ naked baby pictures on Facebook. We all have cute bathtub pix but I worry about my google photos being hacked, much less posting it online! No better than how Jenn treats Remy. I have teenagers. If I put anything more personal than generic “X got her drivers license today!” etc on SM that would be wrong. One time my kid saw an old post I’d done about the frustrations of potty training him when he was 2 and he was mortified! Taught me a lesson. I’d never post “Susie lost her virginity last night! We’re so proud!” - even if I were proud (and I’ve met parents who would be.)

I feel like these kids think it’s normal because their parents have exploited them their whole lives. I constantly have to tell my kids to scale back online and not attach their name to anything even slightly controversial because it can and will come back to haunt them. Or even text it or Snapchat it. Look at all the people ruined over something stupid they tweeted when they were young.

I think one of our hardest jobs parenting teens is teaching them how to use the internet responsibly. We need to be an example. Posting their most personal details online is failing in that area. 🤷🏽‍♀️ My .02.
