I love this house. So much character.

I just bought on the Hill and also sold. While this isn’t what I was looking for in terms of location and space, it’s got more character than much of what’s out there.

Ooh I wish I got to snoop around at the open house. I live down the block and have always been intrigued by those windows and the modern design. This is why the Historic District constraints are irritating to me - why not allow modern touches?

Gosh! I literally was just walking past that house and wondering about its history since it looks so different. It’s from 1840 (so about 50 yrs older than most in the neighborhood) and “ Fun Fact! The home was previously located on Massachusetts Ave NW and served as the Swiss Consulate until 1898 when it was moved to Capitol Hill by horse and cart.”

That's why I love historic district.

Sold for $899k after months on the market, so yes, it was overpriced by a fairly large amount.

Pending within 24 hours of listing. $870K for a shell. Granted, unusually large and, in my opinion, pretty sweet location relative to H St and Capitol Hill proper. Sad as I’m sure some developer offered full asking in cash.

The flip that ends up on the market for $1.75 million in a few months will be suitably depressing, I'm sure.

Actually flip went above $2million.

This one doesn't have a parking but did well nonetheless.

C Street was very cute, but landed at an inflated price due to low supply. Exceptionally limited supply in close-in Eastern Market --> unsustainable prices. Curious when it will cool

It is a cute house on a cute block. I doubt it would cool in near future. There is never going to be oversupply near Eastern Market.

This CapHill condo with $708/ month HOA went for $1.38 million.

That Church conversion is pretty cool and unique. I'd like to convert a full Church someday!
