What sort of monster gets on a plane with this virus? I do not wish them a fast recovery. |
I'm the PP with the hospitalized family member. Tbh I'm not sure this occurred to them--coronavirus concerns have not been mentioned, AFAIK. The accident just happened early this week, and several family members immediately made flight plans. Will cross my fingers and hope for the best. |

So who is getting tested? Only people sick enough to warrant a hospital admission?
I emailed my children’s teacher a question and she said she is home with the flu. How does she know it is the flu? Most people with mild cold and flu symptoms are just staying home and not being tested, right? Certainly there are not enough tests to test every single man woman and child who runs a fever. |
Oh, and thanks for the well wishes. |
This is why the virus will spread. People are so selfish. This isn’t even some low wage hourly worker threatened with their job if they don’t come in. We’re talking about attending optional social events and travel. I hope these people get outed in their communities. I would judge someone I know IRL for this so hard. I’d probably lose trust in them as a decent human being. Accidental spread is understandable. But this is intentionally spreading a pandemic virus. |

Does anyone else find it nearly impossible to concentrate on work? I feel like things are really happening fast now- world leaders and spouses and celebrities getting sick, tournaments getting cancelled, schools starting to close.
I am grateful this is my biggest "problem" today. I am sending good vibes to all those dealing with sickness and uncertainty. |

Potentially a murderer, actually. It's not that different from an HIV positive person having unprotected sex with someone and not disclosing their HIV status beforehand. |
There aren't - according to Dr. Fauci. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2020/03/12/coronavirus-live-updates/#link-EI5WLXI4CNG4LGTXBWW7THYK5Q |
Or public health official so-and-so at whatever level of government who did xyz to cover up the extent of the spread??? |
PP you replied to. I heard it on WAMU. |
It was someone being interviewed on WAMU. I'll try to find it for you. |
OK, it's Dan Diamond who said that: he covers health policy and politics for POLITICO and is telling Diane about the government’s attempts to minimize the spread of the virus. It's pretty grim. https://wamu.org/story/20/03/03/the-u-s-scrambles-to-minimize-the-impact-of-coronavirus/ |
I created a thread about this the other day in off topic. You are definitely not alone. |
