If that’s true, then I am sorry for all of these people when they find out he might have been sneezing at their toilet paper. Coronavirus fears: Empty shelves as Canadians heed health minister's advice to stock up Empty shelves at a Costco in Markham, Ont., on Sunday.
Photos showed long lines of shoppers and rows upon rows of empty shelves. And at Toronto Costco locations, employees were wiping carts with disinfectant as customers entered the store |

| OK y'all, this is my new conspiracy theory: your Ring cameras are going to be used by law enforcement (after all, you opted into their Neighbors App) to monitor if you are complying with quarantine. |

There has been plenty of messaging saying wash hands and cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough. Beyond that, it's been- carry on like life as usual. Which is the absolute WRONG messaging. If you want to be smart about this you have to do your research and implement preventative measures on your own. The CDC is not going to do it for you. What I'm doing- Social distancing, avoid large gatherings, telework when possible, less trips to the stores, cancelled vacation. I still walk my dog, go to exercise class, and a couple of social engagements, but I wash my hands diligently and keep my distance from people. I've been trying really hard to touch my face less. Never realized how often I do this until now. I also wipe down my phone with Clorox wipes and the steering wheel and other parts of my car I touch each day. If I'm tired, I stay home. A lowered immune system makes you more susceptible. Knock on wood, I've felt not sick so far, but if I do I will stay home. |

Washing hands is the best thing you can do. Clearly, since we didn’t close our borders to Italy, the containment was impossible. But just because you’re near someone who is infected, it doesn’t m mean you will get infected too. So wash your hands, and don’t touch your face. It’s the best defense there is if you are not isolating at home. |

I'm worried for friends and family who wouldn't do well. My mom is in her 70s, my best friend is going through chemo, my husband had a severe respiratory infection a few years ago that seems to come back all the time now.
My son's teacher is so anxious that if a kid even coughs in her classroom, she sends them to the hand sanitizers. Normally, this would be over the top, but I explained to DS that she's older, has had some past health problems and she's scared--so he needs to be patient and kind. |

Yes it was on the news with gigantic Jeff Bezos picture right under the huge bold title.. made you think...the waaaaat now? |
| Unfortunately, I think the numbers are worthless at this point. Wash your hands, and stay home at the first sign of illness. Nothing else to be done. |
