Another ICE Shooting in Minnesota

Might already be too late but it’s amusing to see that he’s trying to save face.

This is the power of people watching, and learning, and sharing what works with one another, including how and when to bring in other elements like the National Guard when a city is being put under force.

It hasn't been perfect, but Minneapolis learned from Chicago, and the next city will be both inspired and better prepared. The cities were training grounds, indeed. F' ICE.

Asking for me and my friends who will be attending more protests.

If you’re standing in the road and they ask you to move, move. It’s not hard. You have the right to protest, you do not have the right to block the street.

Or else what? You’ll be shot and killed?

That’s not how the law works here. What was so damn urgent they couldn’t just walk away. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

And there’s the problem, you think you’re above the law. What was so damn urgent he couldn’t move to the sidewalk?

Again, NOT HOW THE LAW WORKS. Blocking traffic is not grounds for execution. Protesting is legal.

You asked how he was resisting. The answer is blocking the street. That is how the law works. You do not have the right to block the street and if asked to move, and you don’t, surprise! That’s resisting.

In the video we all saw, ICE is not running up to him when he's in the middle of the street. ICE runs over to attack a woman, and then our hero nurse helps her. Thus, we may conclude that ICE did not care that he was in the street. They only cared that a decent white man threatened their masculinity by helping a woman they'd attacked. Their rage at their own shame caused them to murder him, stand back and watch him die.

This^^^. I watched the video and yes, Alex is in the street and proceeds to the sidewalk when ICE is giving a two handed shove to a women who falls over. Alex tries to help her and is attacked by ICE. Then, all hell breaks loose with the spray, the tackling, the punching, kicking and then sadly the shooting. Tragic.

I know you are doubling down on this point because you’re a troll. But have you checked the news today? Because Trump is no longer siding with the ICE version of events. He has seen the polls and the pushback and he is now saying the administration is “reviewing everything” which is his way of giving himself an out. He has also sent Homan to Minneapolis over Noem’s head, which signals a lack of confidence in Noem and her operation. Why is it that we libs know what MAGA officials are doing better than MAGA themselves?

He didn’t even insult Walz here. The Admin knows that they are cooked.

He didn’t write that post.

I’m the PP who posted the Bill Melugin Fox News article last night and this is exactly what I predicted. Homan is a corrupt fuc%up but at least he knows the job and doesn’t seem to be a sadist like Noem and Lewandowski are.

I want Noem removed/impeached. I hope Trump throws her under the bus in order to get the gov't funded this week.

Another shutdown isn't going to do anything to help GOP numbers.

But if a person is resisting arrest and has a firearm, they have every right to remove it because it is a threat.

ICE has no jurisdiction to arrest him. None.

Why did they need to arrest him in the first place. Is helping another person now a crime? Standing on the side of the road with a phone?

Get the F out of here. Stop rationalizing MURDER.

Under the circumstances, Pretti was interfering with a law enforcement operation by standing in the middle of the street and interfering with the officers' when dealing with agitators. We don't know what was said during the altercation. After he was pepper sprayed, he continued to resist. He should have, at that point, moved away from the situation, especially while carrying a firearm. Not saying he deserved to die, but there are risks you take when putting yourself in that situation.

I don’t understand what was happening before the shooting. Why was he in the middle of the road and how did he plan on helping a person surrounded by armed ice agents?

Exactly. Again, all of these actions alone don't justify lethal force. But the presence of a gun on the agitator during the scuffle changes things significantly. Moral of the story, leave the gun at home when attending tense protests.

Please stop trying to assign blame to the victim of a murder. Trust me, all this is leading to is an ICE agent getting shot in the face and every sane person in the country say, “well, he shouldn’t have been such a traitorous d@ckbag, he just escalated it.”

Why did he bring a gun to a protest the? Was he planning to use it? One has to wonder...

I'm not sure why this is confusing for you. He was allowed to carry a gun. Perhaps he thought violence would break out and he could be the "good guy with a gun" that we're always hearing about. Or he simply carries one for self defense. By your logic anyone who carries a gun is looking to murder people?? You don't realize how ridiculous you sound?

I think Noem is on her way out. There were already rumblings about that before the Pretti incident happened.

How TF was he resisting arrest? He was peppersprayed at point blank range. They could have walked away at that point.

Let me repeat, THEY COULD HAVE WALKED AWAY AT THAT POINT.

People kill. Not guns.

So now that’s flipped too? I thought we needed gun control because it was the guns that killed people. Liberals are now arguing for the 2nd amendment, blaming people not guns, and white lives matter. What a wild time.

I'm a liberal and I've always supported the 2nd Amendment. What I don't support is the 2nd Amendment without any limits. I'm not sure why this is a difficult concept for conservatives to grasp.

She got her entire face redone for this job and she is about to get kicked off the island. Couldn’t have happened to a better person.

I’m sure Trump said all kinds of conciliatory things on the call. Despite trying to act like a tough guy, he’s actually a pretty big pu$$y when anyone challenges him to his face. He also has a severe case of “last person I talked to.” Miller has ready access to him, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he does a 180 by tomorrow.

Of course he is. Trump is a bully. Bullies always back down when confronted. Which makes the spinelessness of Congress even more baffling.

Stay tuned for Kristi got the coffee a couple of times.

Liberals are actually winning big here with gun control talking points. Guy probably would be alive today if he hadn't had a gun.
