But if a person is resisting arrest and has a firearm, they have every right to remove it because it is a threat.

Why did they need to arrest him in the first place. Is helping another person now a crime? Standing on the side of the road with a phone?

Get the F out of here. Stop rationalizing MURDER.

Under the circumstances, Pretti was interfering with a law enforcement operation by standing in the middle of the street and interfering with the officers' when dealing with agitators. We don't know what was said during the altercation. After he was pepper sprayed, he continued to resist. He should have, at that point, moved away from the situation, especially while carrying a firearm. Not saying he deserved to die, but there are risks you take when putting yourself in that situation.

Actually, that’s EXACTLY what you’re saying, you fascist pig.

LOL. How could they stop it? Be real. The president could stop it TODAY. The GOP could stop it TODAY. Kristi Noem could stop it TODAY.

It's going to the court today precisely because Minnesota cannot stop it.

They could stop it be telling people to let ICE do their jobs, just like other States have. Why won’t they?

But, ICE isn't doing their job. They're not detaining violent criminals. Also, let's just pause here...if violent undocumented immigrants are roaming our streets, it's a total failure of local law enforcement, since they should be locked up. If they aren't deported after release, that's a fail on ICE. We know that upwards of 70% of the detainees have no criminal records. Why are we spending American's healthcare dollars to apprehend law abiding immigrants when we could make a legal pathway for those who are working and paying taxes? We are essentially using taxpayer $$ to terrorize American communities because Pam Bondi wants to get voter data for Trump, per her memo last week.

Do you use your brain at all?

wow, I am absolutely shocked. Will MAGAs turn on Fox now?

This death has so much footage that it is too difficult to lie about.

Getting my popcorn ready to watch MAGA contort themselves now that Trump is backing down. And he IS backing down.

Are you supposed to remain motionless like a corpse while being tear gassed, punched, and sat upon?

Asking for me and my friends who will be attending more protests.

If you’re standing in the road and they ask you to move, move. It’s not hard. You have the right to protest, you do not have the right to block the street.

Or else what? You’ll be shot and killed?

That’s not how the law works here. What was so damn urgent they couldn’t just walk away. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

And there’s the problem, you think you’re above the law. What was so damn urgent he couldn’t move to the sidewalk?

Again, NOT HOW THE LAW WORKS. Blocking traffic is not grounds for execution. Protesting is legal.

You asked how he was resisting. The answer is blocking the street. That is how the law works. You do not have the right to block the street and if asked to move, and you don’t, surprise! That’s resisting.

I know you are doubling down on this point because you’re a troll. But have you checked the news today? Because Trump is no longer siding with the ICE version of events. He has seen the polls and the pushback and he is now saying the administration is “reviewing everything” which is his way of giving himself an out. He has also sent Homan to Minneapolis over Noem’s head, which signals a lack of confidence in Noem and her operation. Why is it that we libs know what MAGA officials are doing better than MAGA themselves?

I’m the PP who posted the Bill Melugin Fox News article last night and this is exactly what I predicted. Homan is a corrupt fuc%up but at least he knows the job and doesn’t seem to be a sadist like Noem and Lewandowski are.

Yeah. I mean he’s scrambling. This thing could really take him down if it escalates any further. He doesn’t want a shut down when all he has to do is make nice and get out of MN.

Might already be too late but it’s amusing to see that he’s trying to save face.

I would love to be a fly on the wall in the White House today. They are probably fuming in there.

Such a grasp at face saving. Walz is man enough to give it to him to save his constituents.

I think that Noem and her boyfriend Corey Lewandowski‘s days are numbered. I pray that Stephen Miller goes with them, but I know that’s hoping for too much.

He could tell them that Trump brand feces has important nutrition that the libs hate and they hand over their credit cards and shovel it in.

🚨 SCOOP: Rep. Ro Khanna is headed to Minneapolis to thank protesters for their courage and to rally support for his new 10-point House agenda to unify Democrats: no new ICE funding, prosecute criminal agents, and dismantle ICE as Trump’s private military force.

The polls speak for themselves. I’m guessing someone’s actually showing them to Trump this time.
