I am sure Jen G wants this to work also because she doesn’t need him with a 25 year old and starting a new family when her kids need him fully present.

She may not understand why Ben is depressed when he has all that acclaim, money, and two Oscars because that’s what she wants. I would imagine her teenagers ways are also confusing to her. One is queer/trans to be and the boy is a shut in video gamer. Jennifer can’t relate to her children or husband because she’s a type A personality go getter and it appears she is an extrovert. She likes parties, loves being on stage, loves the red carpets. These things are torture for an introvert like Ben

She called her mother a narcissist in the new documentary which I found interesting. I believe she is correct here because I saw her Half-time doc on Netflix and her mom seemed very bitter. She ignored Jennifer during a thanksgiving table thank you to her parents . Her dad looked emotional and touched by Jens words /tribute and the mom didn’t even pay Jennifer any mind. Apparently , she wanted to be an actress /showgirl before marrying and having kids but it didn’t work out for her. I think she is jealous of Jennifer.

It’s also strange she gambles with Ben in Vegas alone at all hours of the night. I don’t think Bens mom or Jennifer would be happy about that. Why is enabling him and where is the boundary? Being Gambling buddies with your MIL is not good when you’re a father of three in recovery for alcohol and you need to be responsible with your money. Jen hates gambling . She doesn’t like that her mom does it and Vegas waitresses have all said Jen takes back most of the tips Ben leaves at the tables lol

Narcissism in some ways is good. Our society says it’s bad but I’ve noticed narcissists never stay down for too long. Delusions and inflated sense of self is better than zero confidence and delicate sensibilities and falling apart at the seams once one thing goes wrong in life.

I doubt J Lo will have a public Britney like meltdown. Narcissists don’t say sorry, never think they’re wrong . She probably thinks Ben is wrong for leaving her , not her for forcing her lifestyle on him. He apparently was tired of her on social media and the documentary and movie publicity . Narcs don’t say sorry so she’s probably calling him a PoS and a punk for running away again and leaking divorce stories to the press. This is probably making him hit the bottle lol

I saw her This is me then movie . It was a bit kooky but fun. The Zodiac love council was fun. Apparently she wrote the script and it shows. J Lo’s sensibilities are so girly . I can see why she’s connected to rom coms so much . Romance roles are natural for her .

The movie is super short. I can’t believe she spent 20 million dollars on what seemed like only a 50 minute movie. The documentary is where you see Ben and Jen interact and that’s where the real mess is. It’s about an hour and a half of Jennifer and team’s delusions . I laughed when someone said Taylor Swift’s a no!

She should’ve taken the hint this project was a kooky mess when everyone in the industry wanted no part in it including Ben. I will say she is tenacious and does what she wants regardless of whether it’s right. I do believe she truly thinks she found the one with Ben. I do hope they are somehow able to work things out . It’s obvious she sees him as a soulmate and the end of the road on her search for love. He doesn’t see her in the same way

Monster in Law is great as well . It was also Fonda’s comeback movie and Jennifer’s commercial comeback after the flop of Gigli . She starred opposite Garner’s ex boyfriend and costar Michael Vartan in that movie as his fiancée . I wonder if she chose that on purpose because Garner was Affleck’s rebound.

I think the industry hates J Lo for taking the rom com queen title from Julia Roberts.

Roberts ruined her career when she married a taken man and flaunted it . Hwood wanted Julia to be the one. Julia’s ex agent Elaine Goldsmith Thomas reps J Lo now and she’s hinted at this. The resentment for J Lo was she was supposed to only be typecasted for Latin roles only after Selena but she broke the glass ceiling in Out of Sight and Wedding Planner when she played mainstream roles where Latin heritage wasn’t written into the characters

This isn’t remotely true. Roberts couldn’t wait to break away from romcoms and do more elevated fare. Hence her Oscar. She mommytracked after kids and has remained very selective about her projects. Unlike Jlo.

Lopez didn't dump Affleck, he dumped her for Garner.
