She may not understand why Ben is depressed when he has all that acclaim, money, and two Oscars because that’s what she wants. I would imagine her teenagers ways are also confusing to her. One  is queer/trans to be and the boy is a shut in video gamer.  Jennifer can’t relate to her children or husband because she’s a type A personality go getter and it appears she is an extrovert. She likes parties, loves being on stage, loves the red carpets. These things are torture for an introvert like Ben[/quote]
