I come from Mass originally. Deep Blue State like MD as well.

We always vote Dem for national elections, but almost always voted Republican for Governor!! Weld, Romney,

Every time we had dem house, senate, Governor the state was a disaster. Taxes up, spending up, wasted money on useless projects. I voted Republican to keep checks and balances. So look at MD and Mass now and they are much more blue than VA and they voted R. Think about why???????? Maybe having one party in charge of everything is stupid.

You just happened to mention three of the very few Rs to stand up to Trump.

Truth is....... I would vote for someone who is more aligned with Trump than someone who is aligned with Biden any day of the week.
Under Trump, our country was flourishing. Economy was great. He got rid of a ton of useless regulations. Illegal immigration was under control. He was business friendly.

Under Biden, things are going to crap. Both our domestic policy and our foreign policy are disasters. Our border is a crisis. Our ports are a crisis. Afghanistan was and remains a crisis. Biden has put in place mandates that reveal his authoritarian desires.

So, the more you bring up Trump, the more we remember how bad things have become.
