This is eerily familiar. Oh I remember. It reminds me of the Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan eligible to vote and either chose not to or voted for Trump. The same man who called their ancestral homes shiithole countries, and said he wanted to ban all Muslims from entering the US. |

2024 elections have really shown me how dumb people are, and how much hubris there is.
What Trump is doing now in every way was largely predictable. He hates brown/black immigrants He hates NATO He's basically Putin's b(tch He is very insecure and likes to bully people His second term was going to be about retribution He's old and clearly has cognitive decline Everything he has done and is doing reflects the above. It was very clear that this is how he is, but people chose to ignore it because they wanted to hear what they wanted to hear, and/or they are stupid. DH watches the news every morning while working out, and when I come down for breakfast he tells me the latest terrible/stupid thing Trump has done/said. None of it surprises me. Nothing this mentally ill person does will surprise me. Zero. Actually, that's not true, if he resigned as POTUS for the good of the country that would absolutely shock me since he's always been about himself, first and foremost. While I have never liked Biden (held my nose and voted for him), he at least had the grace to bow out for the good of the party (country). Trump would never ever do that. He'd rather let the US go down in flames than do the right thing if it meant he didn't get something out of it. -former R |
