I hope you realize gay marriage becoming legal wasn't the starting point for not saying gay people are disgusting, it was pretty much the finish line. I also think it's strange that she emphasized she was just a private citizen in her apology, since she must have been competing for Miss New Mexico right around then, and was running an NGO. I don't need to see her tarred and feathered or anything but the whole point of these stupid pageants is supposed to be to teach poise and professionalism (::gag: but we're also supposed to be like "oh, who didn't say they were 'disgusted' by gay men in their 20s" when anything untoward comes up. She also worked on the Obama campaign the next year, which she always brings up as her crowning professional achievement, so the idea that she was just a stupid kid doesn't wash. She was trained in media from a young age and still said all this.

But her current Twitter account is vile too, so no real surprise there.

Tough cookies. Bravo fired the VPR guys for their tweets 10 and 11 years ago. And you’re going to have to educate us on how making gay marriage legal all the sudden made homophobic comments wrong.

Totally agree. She is drop dead gorgeous; I still haven’t gotten over how beautiful she is. But the home decor, especially, is horrible. Her girls are adorable and I wish she’d listen to what they’re trying to tell her about their father. He seems like a major player and completely insincere. Hopefully I’m wrong about that, but her girls are very smart.

Can’t stand Karen, but it’s pretty sad watching her try so hard with Ray. He is so not into her... painful to watch.

I like Robyn, but that’s another painful situation - watching how desperate she is to remarry Juan. Though have to say - for the first time ever I was so impressed with Juan when he met Gizelle for lunch and actually *talked* rather than mumbled. He said such touching things about Robyn, my opinion of him definitely went up. Now he just needs to actually say those things TO ROBYN!
