You’ve got to be kidding me. Do you know literally anything about the history of medicine? Shall I go about listing all the egregious harms deliberately caused by doctors over the years?

Honestly the deliberate and willful blindness of people like you is quickly awakening the world. You cannot keep trying to gaslight the world. You need to be honest.

Why on earth would people endorse trans breastfeeding if it weren’t safe, unlike your examples of Tuskegee or whatever I guess. Sorry that you’re jealous that more people can now feed their babies and it’s not just you anymore. Grow up!

You are shockingly scientifically illiterate and profoundly dishonest. I guess that’s to be expected.

Experts are literally lining up to proclaim that breastfeeding (for natal women or previously male women) is good, natural, and important. Maybe they know more than you?

Those are activists, not experts. There is no evidence that the products of drug-induced male lactation are safe for a baby or equivalent to that produced by a natal woman. None.

Sorry, wrong! https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37138506/

In many t4t relationships (at least with one trans man and one transwoman), it would be extremely dysphoria-inducing for the birthing person to chestfeed and it’s really lovely that the other mom can ease that burden.

And perhaps AFABs are envious that their special bond can be shared?

That study is refuted here - https://www.theparadoxinstitute.com/read/the-ugly-truth-of-male-breastfeeding. It’s a case study of a single person, not a comprehensive review. The male only produced 5 oz per day, which is in no way adequate to feed a child. Only four components of the milk were studied, and one of the four was out of the normal range. There are far more than four components of breast milk in a woman that should be looked at. It does not ensure the safety of the milk for the child.

No, they just care more about the safety of the baby over their own ego. You wouldn’t get that, though. It’s all just about your ego.

In case you haven't noticed, CDC isn't doing very well in the credibility department these days.

Stuff like this — clearly wrong, clearly ideology-driven, easily refuted with science — just undermines the credibility of the CDC.

.

+1. But after Covid no one listens to them anymore. So they are free to come out with political garbage

Yeah, breastfeeding your own baby is ego-driven. Do you hear yourself?

Yeah, breastfeeding your own baby is ego-driven. Do you hear yourself?

Stop gaslighting. Nobody rational or with a basic understanding of science buys this nonsense you are peddling.

Oh, I agree. But they certainly aren’t helping themselves by taking positions that are clearly not rooted in science and are instead rooted in a quasi-religious belief system.

Then where do you personally draw the line? Trans women are women. Full stop.

Unrelated to recent posts, but one of the most famous woman athletes thinks that you need to chill about women’s sports and maybe actually be inclusive? Crazy, right? I guess that we can take her word over the non-athletes, right?

She is about to retire and never had to compete for a spot against a natal male. She got hers and is now telling other girls to give up their opportunities. It’s vile and I used to be a big fan of hers.

The USWNT did lose to a bunch of teen boys in a scrimmage, though.
