I just asked Jeff to look into the numerous weird but specific accusations on the last few pages. I think one poster is posting a lot of 'rumors' to make a point about how we don't know anything. But no one has said anything specific like that poster is.

I posted the one about him running off to start a TV show with teapot tim. I was (hoping) people would realize it was a joke - was making fun of the ridiculous 'I heard from my brother's uncle's friend Kane did XYZ" posts that keep popping up.

That’s exactly what I want to know. Aside from a bitchy attitude and someone yelling at you what was abusive? That describes a few of my past department heads from a few of my last commands. We’ve all been there right?

No one is going to talk. Large corporations and their NDAs and settlement agreements are very tight.

However, the radio industry has a LONG trail of bodies: a-holes, addicts, and abusers. Kane isn’t special, but rather the last (handful) of a dying breed. It’s one positive outcome of music and morning show streaming.
Radio isn’t god, and we no longer have to put up with narcissistic addicts controlling the airways.

If no one is going to talk, then all the comments alluding to “abuse” “narcissism from his former coworkers (and a random intern) need to stop. There is zero value added with all these vague comments.

Listened to Sarah and Sammy leave abruptly and was sad and confused about it. Listened to everything that went down with Danni and felt that they had been disrespectful to her for a long time in a way they were not to Sarah, at least not overtly. I was listening the day he had a nervous breakdown on air and trashed his wife for an hour and a half. That was one of the last days I listened.

I also googled around after each of those things. I googled when I heard Mel left awhile later. I thought it interesting that Mel and Sarah and Danni all seemed to feel the same way. I thought it interesting that Sammy never said anything at all. I found it interesting none of them were able to speak freely about what happened. You guys are always talking about how Danni is a drama magnet and how that makes her a bad person and you know, I'm not going to comment on whether she's a good or bad person, I don't know her, but you're right about the drama. Heck she got her start on that show Bridezilla! But I don't see how you can sling that mud at Danni and not realize Kane has just as long and storied a trail of drama and grossness behind him. And an arrest for domestic violence.

Charges we're all dropped by both N and the attorneys office. She admitted to having (possibly still having) an alcohol and drug problem before, during and after the incident. That record was expunged by a judge as well. Now, would you stop about the DV case? It doesn't exist anymore.

That's not how NDAs work you idiot. It's a two way NDA. It protects the employee and the company. Both of whom don't give a rats ass if you petition them until you die. They do not have an obligation of disclosure to you or anyone else outside of the company.

No. Unless you can provide proof, that is just hearsay. In addition, charges get dropped every day when deals are struck and money is offered, which may have likely happened here.

Prosecutors in Maryland have dropped an assault charge against Peter Deibler, the radio personality known as Kane on the syndicated “The Kane Show.”

Deibler was arrested and charged with second-degree assault after a May 25 incident at his Rockville, Md., apartment involving his estranged wife, Natasha Deibler, with whom he’s mired in a messy legal battle over their divorce and custody of their two children. Late last month, the Maryland state’s attorney dismissed the assault charge, determining that “the case should not be prosecuted,” a spokesman for the state’s attorney’s office said in a statement.

Most people make it through life without ever getting accused of or arrested for DV. He has a very clearly antagonistic and mean relationship with his ex. That says something about him, regardless of her issues.

I was listening that day they broke up. I don't need you to tell me I didn't hear what I heard. Which was a local celebrity using his platform to smear his wife, the mother of his children, in the most public way possible before a certain divorce.
