The Kane Show Discussion Thread

This thread is for discussion of The Kane Show. Just to be clear, "discussion of the The Kane Show" means "discussion of The Kane Show".

Things that are not "discussion of The Kane Show" include but are not limited to:

1) Discussion of people who are or may have been married to members of the cast of the show;

2) Discussion of family members of people who may have been or are married to members of the cast of the show;

3) Discussion of people who are former but not current members of the cast of the show (if such people are doing something worth talking about, start new threads);

4) The physical appearance of cast members of the show (it is radio, who cares how they look?);

5) The personal matters of cast members of the show that are not discussed on the show itself;

6) and discussion of suspicions about who an anonymous poster may be.

I'm sorry for the long list of things that should not be discussed, but "discussion of The Kane Show" seems to have been difficult to understand. These guidelines will be strictly enforced and, if necessary, the thread will be locked and additional threads prohibited. Some of you may need to return to Reddit.

I'm not PP, but those ratings aren't good news, and they show a downward trend, not just a single bad month. Listeners don't like repeats, so if they continue to play them for a week/two weeks at a time (like their "big break" at the end of the year), ratings will drop even more. Not sure how bad ratings have to be for iheart to pull a show though.

I'm not PP. but I remember the "end" of 99.1 as a progressive music station (one of the countries largest too). Without warning, 99.1 turned Spanish literally overnight with no warning or explanation.

So it would not surprise me if "Kane" disappeared in the same fashion without explanation. It's radio.
