Prosecutors in Maryland have dropped an assault charge against Peter Deibler, the radio personality known as Kane on the syndicated “The Kane Show.”

Deibler was arrested and charged with second-degree assault after a May 25 incident at his Rockville, Md., apartment involving his estranged wife, Natasha Deibler, with whom he’s mired in a messy legal battle over their divorce and custody of their two children. Late last month, the Maryland state’s attorney dismissed the assault charge, determining that “the case should not be prosecuted,” a spokesman for the state’s attorney’s office said in a statement.

Most people make it through life without ever getting accused of or arrested for DV. He has a very clearly antagonistic and mean relationship with his ex. That says something about him, regardless of her issues.

Exactly. That is typical abuser behavior. He knew exactly what he was doing. He has the fans, the power and the means to humiliate her publicly and have fans on his side.

I went to her post after it happened. The abuse she got from his "fans" was disgusting. People saying the most vile sh** because of what Kane said. That's exactly what he wanted to happen. Get everyone on his side. Just from that alone, i'm glad karma has caught up to him. What's done in the dark will always come to light.

Anyone can have a case dismissed. I think I remember reading she didn't show up at some point and we never found out why. Sometimes money and intimidation could make one back away, just a thought.

THIS. Most people don't have to try and shove their way into a place where her children are while she thinks they're in danger. (Before you say I'm her or her sister, I don't know her but those were the statements on file.) Maybe you could try and explain that one.

It also feels very much like people directly involved are commenting because who in their right mind would be defending someone who now has at least 5 people who have said at different times he's got issues.

And still, no one can verify where he is or what he's done to get removed from ALL of his stations and weekend show. That doesn't happen for no reason.

Sara did a video with her cohost on the show about the issue. She’s all in positive land now. Saying how much she values what he taught her, how she would love to have him on her show, she learned so much blah blah. I was hoping she would spill some tea, but she kept it basic.

Sara doesn't have anything to gain by trashing him at this point. She's moved on and built her own following. Taking the high road has worked out for her in the long-run.
