Will note that none of the bolded countries have reported even one case, which is what makes the Saudi announcement so intriguing. Do they have credible anecdotal evidence of spread in those countries notwithstanding no official reporting?

Ireland, which has 43 cases, is shutting down all schools and universities.

Their per capita rate is relatively low, especially for Europe, 8.7, but there is definitely a trend beginning for countries to avoid an Italy situation by taking non-pharmaceutical containment measures much more proactively.

We need to see.. weather only helps to kill it outside the host to slower the spread but people need to do the rest.

If the hospitals fill up, they have to triage patients based on the most likely to survive. That means if you have 2 people and one ventilator and one is a 30 year old with a family and one is a 65 year old empty nest smoker, who do you think gets treatment?

Sadly young people with comorbidities/underlying conditions are behind healthy older people in the line.

Old people and those with underlying conditions are screwed.
